  1. "Megabyte" sounds really fitting for the Silicon Valley, which CGA is in. Especially with all the SV offices next to the park. Though I wonder where would the coaster have been placed if it was built?
  2. It's great to see more thrill coaster in not Queensland, Australia especially since all the just about all good roller coasters in Australia are in or near Gold Coast, Queensland
  3. Plopsa just posted a new update video on the upcoming Mack Extreme Spinning Coaster
  4. I did go today and here are some observations. It was a slow day to the point where I even the Gold Striker was a walk on. The pavement at Celebration Plaza was redone and I like how they did it. Railblazer's track construction is now complete but rockwork needs to be done before testing can begin. The coaster look quite compact in person and there were crew working on-site. A few rides were closed (Tiki-Twril and The Orbit; Bezerker was down for a brief period). There were celebrations at Flight Deck for it's 25th anniversary with people in themed uniformed operating and standing outside the ride and the movie 'Top Gun' was being screened Theatre Royal, under the zero-g-roll of Flight Deck. Here are some pics of Railblazer I took today:
  5. Heavy snow has fallen in the Paris, France region. You can see Oz'Iris in the background
  6. This looks great though I'm afraid capacity would be a nightmare. Also the lift hill has no catwalks, which I find unusual. One thing usual about the lift is that it faces north, like most roller coasters (and all the big ones) in CA Great America do
  7. I doubt the people at Prudential would be happy to see another ride at this spot.
  8. What about "Make (California's) Great America Great Again"?
  9. Ottawa, Canada if you go by dry amusement parks. The nearest decent one from there is La Ronde in Montreal, which is 2 hrs away
  10. Was there yesterday. It was empty and I heard one ride operator on the Vortex declare that she was bored. The lines on the Gold Striker never extended beyond the stairs before the station so towards the end of the day, I seized the opportunity to have a mini ERT on the Gold Striker. Got 6 ride in about 40-45 minutes, which is good considering the ride's popularity. I also saw a bunch of people who did the same thing on the Gold Striker.
  11. Watch roller coaster POVs, theme park vlogs and RCT3.
  12. Check out this article the Onion wrote. Yeah, it's satire. http://www.theonion.com/article/new-seaworld-show-just-elephant-drowning-large-tan-51139
  13. I wonder if the people from RMC actually looked at this thread.
  14. You're not alone in considering the overbank turn not an inversion. RCDB stopped saying that the CuChulainn had an inversion.
  15. I can't wait to see your commentary on the ride.
  16. New aerial image of Cu Chulainn released.
  17. How did you get the information about the fate of these rides? Just good old graft and hard work. I wrote an article before we knew where they were going http://www.vhcoasters.com/?p=2864 and researched every possible park. Then just kept visiting Vietnamese news sites and local forums till something turned up on the rides. Looks like the old mine train is almost complete at Asian Park in Da Nang now. Can you give examples websites you used? Edit: I may have found them already.
  18. How did you get the information about the fate of these rides?
