1. I hope the rumor is true, IMO The Super Manege isn't the worst coaster in the park considering how much Le Monstre sucks with its PTC trains, but its area looks very depressing and the coaster itself is in a desperate need of a coat of paint, which I think will never happen. Considering La Ronde improved the surroundings of every new ride they added in the recent years, a new attraction replacing this coaster - whatever it is - plus a bit of new concrete and paint would be great. There used to be a waterpark at La Ronde in the 90's (before Six Flags bought the park), but it has been gone for more than 20 years. I'm not sure why it was removed (a little bit of research would probably give you the answer) but I would guess the venture wasn't worth it considering there are at least 3 other water parks within a 1 hour drive from La Ronde. Did the water park occupy the land that Le Vampire and (formerly) Cobra are on?
2. I was thinking the same thing lol! I guess they will edit out the leaves in post production....
3. There is a rumor on Screamscape that La Ronde may remove Super Manege (apologies if I spelled that wrong) at the end of the Summer. If that turns out to be true, hopefully it is a sign that La Ronde will receive SFMM's Green Lantern rather than SFStL lol!
4. I know I'm in the minority but I'm really happy to hear this and I hope it really happens. I have too much nostalgia related to Tidal Wave lol!
5. I think the best, and most logical way to spruce up that area would be to relocate Shazam elsewhere in the park and put a new flat in its place.
6. From what I understand is that it was confirmed it would reopen, just not at SFMM.
7. I could see the Green Lantern ZacSpin going to La Ronde or SFA instead of SFStL
8. ^ I've never ridden it, but I haven't heard anything good about it. So I'd rather not see it here.
9. Lol they killed my spirit! I was pretty naïve back then lol! The thing is, I know that the park and area could support a major addition. Corporate just doesn't want to do it.
10. I'm no optimist, but you never know. We don't have too many copy/paste nickle and dime SF options left. It is disappointing that there are SO many options, yet a realistic speculation for the park is so limited.
11. ^ Same. I'm hoping to at least get that long rumored Sky Rocket II eventually.
12. I just realized we are only a little over two months away from the SF 2020 announcements. Time goes so fast! I know it wont necessarily be anything to write home about, but I am still excited to see what may come. Although I most likely wont ride it because I cant do most flats.
13. ^^ When I went to the park a few years ago, I found Tornado to be unbearably rough. Hopefully it will be more enjoyable now.
14. The two biggest new rides I could see SFStL getting in the near future would be a clone of SFFT water coaster, or a giant frisbee (the smaller model).
15. The original layout for the antique cars was so nice. I know it has been mentioned several times here, but I do hope at sometime in the future they give a better layout for the antique cars. There are several areas in the park that would work perfectly.
16. ^^^ Personally I found the helix on Fury to be very forceful and I'm glad it is there.
17. Awesome report! It would be nice to see an Ozark inspired version at SDC!
