I'm not familiar with this park. Is there an abandoned rapids ride at the south end of the park? At least that is what it looks like on Google's satellite view.

The google satellite view has been updated and there is some really interesting development going on at the former Tidal Wave site. It almost looks like the set up of a haunt, but its hard to tell.....

Are there good haunts in the Minneapolis area to fill the void? I'm not familiar with the area.

I've often wondered why SF did'nt do more refurbs like SFOG Ninja at other parks in the chain. After that happened I was pretty convinced our Ninja would get the same treatment.

I dont blame anyone that has VF as a home park for being upset. WOF is my home park and Haunt is my favorite time to go! If they did the same thing there, I would be very upset!

What do you all think about this news that Sea World Parks is interested in buying the CF chain? (I'm not saying its likely at all, just curious about your thoughts as one of the smaller parks in the chain.)

You got me beat. I have'nt even been to the park this year, and I have a membership lol!

I did not expect it, but I'm not surprised by it. The lack of staff now will only get worse by the time HITP begins. Its unfortunate, but understandable. I dont like this new normal

Personally, I think the park is doing a great job. The park looks better than it did 5 or so years ago. Like, so much better! And I know its subjective, but I believe we now have the most attractive entrance of all of the SF parks. Sometimes, you just have to appreciate things a little more. Would I be ecstatic if we were to receive a brand new hyper? Absolutely! Is it going to happen? Absolutely not. Would I be ecstatic if we were to receive even more landscaping and building refurbishments? Absolutely! Is it likely to happen? Absolutely! I had to adjust to the reality of what SFStL is, and once I did, I saw everything from a different perspective. I love coming to this park! And although I'm not a fan of flat rides, I love when they add them. Because it is a nice investment in the park! It is expansion. It is care for the park. And dont even get me started on the Carousel project! I may sound stupid, I'm not necessarily good at putting my thoughts into text. But I hope it makes sense, and perhaps enlightens some folks.

The only wooden coaster that will be open is American Thunder. Boomerang, and SkyScreamer will also be closed. Thats the only things I know of for sure.

I wonder what the decision process was for that then. Being that its all set up, you'd think it would have been an obvious one to go with.

Is Insanity Alley (or I guess its called Night Terrors now) one that is not operating this year? If so, I'm surprised, being that it stays up year round. Also, I quite like it.

I would miss FITH most. I hope a full refurbishment would be the route they would go, over a removal.

I still have the unlikely dream of Ozark Wildcat being rebuilt at SDC (with improved capacity, of course lol)

I was looking at Michigan's Adventure on GoogleMaps and noticed the lagoon right in the middle of the parking lot. I found that to be quite odd lol.
