I'm sure that the former TR building provides a nice space for storage, and an excuse for a seasonal haunt, but honestly I do wish they would remove the building in favor of a more aesthetically appealing attraction. But of course that is all subjective.

It is officially set in stone that I will be visiting Carowinds for the first time this Summer, and needless to say, I am very excited! I'm definitely looking forward to Fury and Intimidator! I'm also really excited about the other coasters. Borg Assimilator (or whatever its current name is), although Vekoma flyers are not highly regarded in the enthusiast community, I am looking forward to as I've never been on a flying coaster of any kind. I am looking forward to Vortex as well as I've never been on a stand up of any kind either. I had opportunities in the past but that was many years ago when I was just getting into coasters and had not gotten the nerve to try a stand up coaster.

To bump the thread, here is a little pointless speculation. I would like to see Adventureland remove Dragon and replace it with a modern steel coaster, like a Chance Hyper GTX. And as unique as the Underground is, I think it would be good for the park to remove it and replace it with a modern dark ride. The park already has a pretty impressive flat ride collection, but seeing them add to it would be welcomed. Especially since a few of them are aging quite poorly. Alright folks, thoughts?

I read on Screamscape that the Boardwalk area is closed for the 2018 construction. Being that I am not familiar with the park, with this area being closed are you still able to traverse the park in a full loop, or can you only get to the back of the park one way during construction. I'm just curious.

Personally, I don't know where I stand on this. On one hand, it would have been so cool to see what RMC could have done to it. And on the other, this leaves the possibility that we could possibly MAYBE see a ground up RMC come to WOF some day.

Part of me wonders, if SF had bought this park and rebranded everything and marketed it as a local park, if it could have turned out to be successful. Pointless, I know. Just a thought I had.

I'd like to think a Chance Hyper lite would be an option. But for some reason they just are not popping up. After Lighting Run was added to Kentucky Kingdom, I expected to see lots of them. Its sad really. And I haven't even ridden Lighting Run yet, but from every review I've read, it is amazing. Side note: I had to correct my spelling of Lighting Run from Lighting Rod twice while I typed that. I knew it was going to be a problem lol!

Is the pre lift, lift, and turn before the drop supposed to be redone as well?
