Haunted Mansion (wdw, dl) - what all dark rides aspire to be.

If it had great theming (Saw the Ride, London) then a DDD type of coaster would be good, I'd still prefer a transplanted B&M though.

Knowing the park will probably never exceed 10 Coasters. I would be happy if they replaced the Ninja with a modern looper, even if was a transplant like Medusa/Bizarro (a rumor from a few years ago) and got a descent small custom coaster for the kiddos. Replace the Hannabarrels with a good flat would be nice as well. ...and do something with the Moons. Steve

I guess so but I think they could do a better job than where is currently operating. Is it that difficult to move the attraction, maybe over by the Joker/Batman area? Living in STL all my life (90% of it anyway), I guess I am getting tired of seeing other parks get these awesome new rides/coasters while SFSTL gets used rides from Texas.

Boomerangs are everywhere and we can't get ours to work. Sad, very sad. At least it looks cool. Thank God Kings Island is only 5 hours away. And when, oh when, are they going to do something about that pathetic Moon Car Layout ???? Gotta be the worst ride in any Amusement Park. Not even worth a walk-on's wait. What were they thinking??? Either yank the lame attraction or rebuild it somewhere else with a good layout and some descent landscaping. The Park is salvagable, just needs some major capital.

And a third triangular footer is about ready to be poured. It is behind the right tower of the 'bungie' ride.

That's awesome. I don't think there is any hidden meaning though, they are just having fun.

I rode the Beast several times a few weekends ago and I agree it was running great! Love that coaster!!!

Does the Boss need the entire IHorse Treatment? imo it doesn't, the Boss' layout is great. Just their adding Topper Track would really help the ride. Maybe adding a Barrel Roll before the Helix would be awesome and the only drastic alteration required.

Cool, thanks for the info. I like all those ideas, not sure why length is an issue for The Boss regarding the Iron Horse treatment. If you know what that means, maybe you can clarify that? ...sorta disappointed that there was no mention of a Kiddie Coaster. SFSTL could really use a cool coaster for the kiddo's ...and not one of those carnival coasters like we used to have, but something permanent like Snoopy Flying Ariel Ace at Kings Island.

Just got back from King's Island... Man, a SFSTL version of Diamondback would be sooo nice. What a great coaster. The Beast was awesome too, Fast and Powerful. I'd love to see a updated vers of Bumper's replace the old Hannbarrel site, seems like a great location.

I hope they rebuild the Bumper Cars. An Amusement Park without Bumper Cars is like a Fast Food joint that doesn't serve French Fries.

...now when is that Hyper getting built!??? kidding. Great Report/Update. The Park is looking good for sure.

Best we can hope for is the Iron Horse treatment on the Boss or to replace the Ninja with another transplanted coaster. I can't see this park ever get into the double digit coaster count.

So what happen with the old bumper car fleet? trashed, scrapped or to rust in the boneyard?

The Boss getting the RMC treatment, best of all we can finally can get rid of those G-Trains.

Besides redesigning the Bunny Hill area before the dbl helix, RMC should leave the layout as is. Just adding topper track to the first four drops would be an amazing improvement. If a Barrel Roll was added before the dbl helix then it would be an insane coaster experience.
