New B&M trains on Steel Dragon
kadabrium replied to Trevor's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^To me those wheels have regular proportions just like the other B&Ms, such as Leviathan But the new ones still appear even larger. -
Nigloland! New Coaster for 2014
kadabrium replied to msep003's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
So not ''above'' or ''over'' 70 meters, obviously, I agree. but I remember Storm's drop is quite steep, so I don't see how that is 70m long.? But I still hope 70m is perhaps the maximum difference in height between any two points on the track..? Like 104ft for nemesis or 113 ft for revolution. Or maybe, like always, they can just level the entire layout to 70m high, or choose a random reference point 70m below the site. Just like the 195m Smiler. -
Nigloland! New Coaster for 2014

Don't see an existing thread, so might as well post this. http://www.disneycentralplaza.com/t34666-nigloland-alpina-blitz-nouveau-mega-coaster-2014 So does that mean it is not launched? 70 meters with inversions? derp -

More than an old SLC and less than a B&M. Obviously, but closer to which side? Or do you know the exact number for that particular one? -

I'm just wondering how much does a new style vekoma slc (eg. battlestar) cost compared to thier old slc, or a B&M? -
I don't really understand why B&M inverted are generally considered better than sitdowns, but that apparently is maybe I have only been on 2 and 3 of them respectively, and even 2 of these back when I was one of the GP (Katun and DKhan) But now I can say to anyone more GP than me that I have ridden world's first generic B&M looper, derp.. Need an England trip this year absolutely before I leave Europe..

The other B&M wing coaster in China had its track completed about one and a half month ago, yet I haven't seen anything. Perhaps CP will choose to finish the gate area refurbishment first, but again I know nothing about what they used to do in history. -

barrel rolls exactly. zero g rolls are not acceptable. -

Apparently Eejanaika (and the clone in China) has only 5 inversions at most first drop, seat flip raven turn top, seat flip zero g roll half zero g roll half barrel roll not even saying that apparently the riders are never strictly head-down during the last 2 half flips. -

Thought the same way but then you miss the 8 shaped inversion between the inverted drop and the Batwing. So it's difficult to say if there is a logical follow up of inversions. ^Apparently they wrote "batwing*2" which would probably have counted the 2 dive loops as a batwing as well. derp -

^Since it is listed in the trailer immediately after the batwing, probably your corkscrew no.7 is actually a twisted hill followed by that supposed barrel roll. The long straight section before the second (vertical) lift would be pointless elsewise. -

Where is the camelback inline twist thing? -

So is this going to have the world's (only) 3rd jojo roll? Not counting Supersonic odyssey.. -
One does not simply *see* bunny hops on all the straight sections when the camera is mounted on the train.

When I first saw X-Flight's first drop as a GP, I thought it was going backwards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6h1sfkObsU 07:14 -
I always wondered where RCT3 got the figure 8 inversion from (odd they put it on the hyper track instead of the Schwarzkopf Looping coaster track now that I know this is a Schwarzkopf design). This is reminiscent of shambhala's turn stretched upright...

The first drop and immelmann of Gate Keeper combined is similar to a Norwegian loop with a downward (instead of horizontal) exit. Takabisha also has a jojo roll in the dark section. and I think I once saw a barrel roll in a tunnel on an Intamin inverted coaster somewhere in Finland. -

May I suggest "Tr lling B tch". -
Thanks a lot. I tried the exactly same proportions as in your illustrations and it worked out perfectly. Here is the last major problem of this flying/4d trackwork: This zero-g roll suddenly began to fire off a bunch of lateral g's, apparently after I heartlined it by hand. I cannot remember exactly what else I did beside pushing the tracks a little bit to the sides just like I do with any other zero g roll, but maybe I accidentally did something wrong that I am not aware. I do not really think the main issue is the speed as I do not remember any apparent problems before I tried to heartline it, and I have tried to elevate this hill a bit but that did not help either
