Gold striker or no gold striker I'll be at the park Monday. Guess ill have to give flight deck a couple extra rides.

I'm going on the first. I really hope that its all worked out. Would really be a bummer if it isn't.

The yellow train is the smooth one. My last visit I rode demon a couple of times, once in the red and once in the yellow. Both times same row and the yellow train had the smoother ride.

There working on it. A lot of the shops have gotten some fresh paint this past off season and they started painting flight deck and demon.

My ride on Monday was fantastic. Love the feeling of sinking into the seat when it gets up to speed.

Gold Striker at cga. Such a great coaster, glad the park was able to finally get a new coaster built.

The B&M roar for sure is my favorite sound. But I do like the sound of the arrow chain lifts and the woooosh sound of intamin drop towers. Also the hum that a schwarzkopf enterprise makes.

With vortex I'll only ride it once a visit as i dont want a headache. But demon, flight deck, psycho mouse and gold striker i will give multiple rides. And for grizzly I just watch it go around the 10 minute turn around and laugh.

When there is a crowd the line fills up the queue, on slow days its a walk on.

Just got home from the park not too long ago, I gotta say I was a little discouraged when I was walking up to the front gate there was a sign saying Gold Striker was closed. But when I got into the park there was an employee by gold strikers entrance telling people that it would open a little later The park was a little busy at the beginning of the day with all the busses in the parking lot, I counted about 20 while going up the lift on flight deck. As soon as all the school kids left nearly everything was a walk on. Best part of the day for me was finally riding Gold Striker. There's not a lot I can say that hasn't already been said about it. The pacing is awesome, all the pops of air , just the intensity of it was amazing. I felt wore out after riding it, just the sheer amount if adrenalin pumping through my body while on the ride. There is no doubt in my mind that it is the best ride in the park.

It's close to opening. There doing test runs now, watching it in person is really something. It hauls some serious.

At the park right now waiting for gold striker to open.

I'm planing on going on Monday and taking my nephew. First order of business will be gold striker(might be my second stop too lol). Gonna try to get out to the park right at opening, but we will see with traffic plus how far my drive is if that happens. Anyone know if schools trips will be happening next week as well?

I say the next coaster has a worlds first element. The middle finger loop. Built right by the prudential building. It will be a launched coaster that rockets from the station right into this loop.

I had a feeling that was what was keeping it from opening. The park was here first and the city should treat the complaints as such and tell prudential to deal with it.

Well I may be calling off from work on Monday so I can go.

It shouldn't have to. The building owners and such should know what they are getting in to when they build next to an amusement park.

Couldn't agree more. The offices are next to a Theme park. What do they expect?

I gotta think that all the sound walls might not be required but the park is putting them up as a courtesy. Maybe as a way to help build a good relationship with the neighbors so that future plans for new coasters won't meet any opposition from anyone. Just a theory.

There is still time for the park to announce it but I wouldn't put too much into what that article said. I'm guessing next week sometime.

The levitating coaster was interesting would be cool to see if they can get that to work.
