I would hit six flags on the Friday as the wait for superman on the weekend can get lengthy. And when you go to cga the following day you can generally tell what kind of day it will be by how the parking lot looks if you would need fast lane. But also take a quick lap around the park to see what the lines are looking like.

Good day at the park today, gotta love the light weekday crowds. My nephew and I boosted our gold striker ride total from 12 to 26 today thanks to the lack of people. Nearly everything was a walk on all day except for gold striker, that line kept steady at around 20 minute waits until the last hour of the day. Had one of my best rides ever on flight deck today getting multiple grey outs all over. Gold striker was running fantastic as always and really wore me out throughout the day. Some quick things. The graffiti is definitely ridiculous on GS. Vortex never had more than a handful of people on a train at a time, even saw some empty trains cycling all day. Orbit was down for half the day. The smell of puke seemed to be everywhere, even right at opening. Rode loggers run and did not get one drop of water on me, first time ever getting off that ride without being even a little wet. Had my first bad ride of the season on demon. Little kids + bumper cars = stuck in a massive pile up for the entire ride. Hello Goldstriker I missed you For the acers? Favorite part of Flight Deck

I know I'm in the minority on this one but I would like to see boomerang bay go. It's taking up valuable real estate that could be used for a new coaster and some flats. I know it isn't going anywhere but it's something I have thought about since stealth was removed and the water park was built. On to reality though I don't think we get anything new until 2015. Just the usual new shows and fresh coats of paint. But I do think we get something big in 2015. Something tall with lots of airtime. Wonder how long its going to be down for.

The only part of the demon I dislike is going into and coming out of the loops. Just the bumpyness in between the loops and going into the first loop can get uncomfortable for me. For the horrible transition into the corkscrews I generally brace myself pretty good and don't bang my head at all. By the way I'm heading out there on the 6th if anyone wants to meet up with me and my nephew and strike some gold

Just got back from a nice day at the park. The day started off with walking up to gold striker to see what was going on, with an employee standing at the entrance telling us it was closed for now and would open later in the day(Nope). Practically everything was a walk on, longest wait we had was for grizzly which was about 30 minutes(any other ride would have been 10 minutes with the amount of people in line). Needless to say it will be my last ride on grizzly as the restraints are tight and uncomfortable on my legs. While on drop tower I couldn't help but imagine what could be put in grizzlys place with all the space surrounding the grizzly plus the space it takes up(Lots of room!!) The tunnel being put up on GS could be done by Wednesday very easily. I'm sure it needs to cover the entire turn so it just needs the framing up which seemed to be going up rather quick. I felt bad for the ride ops that were standing in the station all day with nothing to do, the day probably dragged on for them. A few quick notes. Yellow train on demon is money, smooth as an arrow can be. First ride on fire fall today, was actually pretty good. Expected my shoulders to hurt but nope. Was very hot today so water rides were ridden quite often. Grey outs on flight deck! Psycho mouse crew was putting cars out quick.
