  1. Hankatten at BonBon Land Intamin Looping Starship
  2. So far, it is 2012 with 24 new coaster credits while finally going on Manhattan Express, having a "full" visit to Six Flags Magic Mountain, getting the new SWSD Manta credit, and visiting a few parks in Florida.
  3. Maybe they're just trolling people enough to make them use a Time Machine just to the real announcement.
  4. Big Ohhhh! at Fun Plex Giovanola Inverted Coaster.
  5. Am I the only one who is thinking that one side of the new Colossus should have the Iron Horse treatment and the other should be an Iron Horse-like wooden coaster treatment?
  6. Cobra - La Ronde Zamperla Family Gravity Coaster
  7. I'm not thinking about any of those names. Can't you all see that the Colossus name will be out and the coaster might be named Big Dipper? I know that Prince Desmond will be happy for the name.
  8. What could the picture on Twitter mean? Well there are stuffed dragons in the top picture, the bottom left picture is an oval which means that the ride has an oval layout, and the bottom right picture shows a water mill which is like water on a wheel. This only means one thing...Dragon Wagon Aquatrax confirmed!
  9. I felt Apocalypse to be pretty rough before it closed for the Summer for track work, but I do have to agree that it has gotten rougher than before at WCB and it's still pretty rough as of my last ride on August 1st.
  10. We think that the floorless conversion is possible because it has once happened before on Sheikra. Example: Before: After: And the Wiki article for Sheikra said that the station was modified so people can board the floorless trains. So if Cedar Point can modify a station, they can make Mantis a floorless coaster.
  11. WCB is coming up faster than I thought it would. I will buy my tickets soon.
  12. ^If you thought that was a good plan... Legoland California: 2015: Build a floored Intamin ZacSpin with a restraint system like Revolution. 2016: Replace every restaurant with YOLO Sports Bars and every food stall with YOLOwings stalls. 2017: Make a true Lego Movie experience where you get attacked by Kragle glue. 2018: For the 20th anniversary, Six Flags buys the park and turns everything into YOLO and rename the park to Six Flags YOLOland San Diego (since they already renamed Magic Mountain to Six Flags YOLOland Los Angeles). 2019: Replace each ride with Wacky Worms to make it the Wacky Worm capital of the world. To add on... SeaWorld San Diego: 2015: Add 5 more waterfalls to Shipwreck Rapids. 2016: Build an Aquatrax that goes all the way to Mission Bay Park. 2017: Shrink the Sky Tower by half. 2018: Buy Jaguar from Knott's Berry Farm and rename the ride Shamu Express. 2019: Turn the Sky Tower into a Gyro Drop ride with brakes right after you drop.
  13. Best: YOLOcoaster- The final drop was the best part of the ride and I didn't mind the brakes. Silver Bullet- The final helix is the most forceful part of the ride. Dragon Challenge (Fireball)- The final corkscrew of the ride really took me by surprise. Worst: Scream!- At some moments, I find the final snap into the brakes rougher than any moment on Viper. Manhattan Express- The helix and final hill didn't feel good on my neck and shoulders. Green Lantern: First Flight- Worst final brakes on any roller coaster that I have ridden.
  14. Montu in the rain wasn't that bad because it's just a sprinkle. Incredible Hulk felt like needles hitting my arms and face in the rain.
  15. Quint - "(The Ballad of) Sharknado"
  16. Having the same thing happen on a day to Knoebels. What's worse than riding a Larson/ARM tower with very tight restraints on your thighs and shoulders?
  17. Togo came back and revived DarienLaker to help them buy out all of the Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks. Suddenly, they failed because...
  18. Well then I must be pretty lucky with no rattling in the back car. When did you last ride it? A few months ago. It's not terrible, they take great care of it. If you said it was smooth compared to other similarly aged coasters, Id be 100% on board. To say that a 90 year old wooden coaster is on par with the smoothness of a brand new steel coaster though I think is a little crazy. It's relatively smooth, just not one of the smoothest coasters out there. That's what I mean. It's relatively smooth for an older ride. Definitely not Premier Rides smooth, but it's aging well with its smoothness.
  19. Viper (SFMM) Intamin Gyro Drop
  20. You should see a doctor, I think you've lost all feeling in your body. YOLOCoaster is a 10/10 on smoothness for sure in fact that's probably my winner followed closely by S:UF at SFDK (Both Premier coasters, worth noting) and Goliath is probably about an 8/10 but just seems smoother than it is compared to most of the other coasters at SFMM. You totally lose me at SCBB though. I *LOVE* the Giant Dipper, it was my first coaster and was my favorite woodie all my life until Gold Striker was built, but smooth it is not. It's not overly painful and it's in fantastic shape for a 90 year old roller coaster thanks to the fine folks in Santa Cruz, but I would not call it smooth at all, not that that makes me like it any less. Well then I must be pretty lucky with no rattling in the back car. When did you last ride it?
  21. Just to name a few: -Goliath @ SFMM -Titan @ SFOT -Silver Bullet @ KBF -Manta @ SWSD -YOLOcoaster @ SFMM -Giant Dipper @ SCBB
  22. I witnessed a few GP moments at Six Flags Magic Mountain. -In line for Apocalypse, a girl thought that the "S" signs around the line meant that she is in line for the Superman ride. -Another GP moment while in line for Apocalypse, another girl wondered if the ride had any inversions. -My parents thought that Tidal Wave was a coaster credit.
  23. Full Throttle at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
  24. Yes! Aquatrax with a rope lift hill with a splashdown section through lava on the quarry.
