Wow that looks awesome! Now to work out when I can fit in (and afford!) that Singapore/Hong Kong trip I've been wanting to take.

I have about 400 eggs banked - anyone want to trade? (I'm aaronm29 in Origin).

My brother doesn't like drop rides (so of course I always suggest he try the frog hoppers if the big ones are too intense!) but I think I might actually be able to get him to ride Tower of Terror. If that works hopefully he won't be so intimidated by the regular outdoor drop towers.

Is anyone still watching Smash? The musical numbers are great but the plot is just getting more ridiculous each week. Bombshell looks like a half-decent show though, makes me wonder if some enterprising producer will try to pick it up for real. Also, just noticed it's only a month until I get to see Newsies - very excited for this one!

^^I don't see Tom Cruise as much of a drawcard, but his last few films have been OK. I liked Mission Impossible 4 and Jack Reacher, haven't seen Oblivion yet but it looks decent.

Anyone else experiencing the glitch with the Rich Texan? The 'Ride the Mechanical Bull' task doesn't persist once you leave the game, just resets to having the Rich Texan doing nothing, so the only way to pass it is to spend 6 donuts to rush.

Theoretically it's still possible to win everything but like all free-to-play games you have to invest a lot of time if you don't want to spend any real-world money. Personally I've added a few snake logs into my town to speed up the process and save time, and Ninja Homer earns plenty of snakes as well. I think it's still possible to get everything for free (math alert!): - 1 snake every 8 minutes is 180 snakes in your town each day. Assuming 20% end up as eggs you'll get about 144 actual snakes. So potentially 2900 snakes from that from now until the end of Whacking Day. - the snake stone can give 50 snakes/day, again a fifth will be eggs so add another 800 or so (more if you want to get up in the middle of the night to reset it!) - assigning Cletus, Homer, Willie, Lisa and Apu to their respective snake-earning tasks will get you another 60/day, for an additional 1200. - so without visiting friends you could still get another 4900 or so snakes, easily enough to get Duff Stadium. - BUT If you have 100 friends and collect 5 snakes from each of them per day, that's 500 snakes, or closer to 400 since around 20% will be eggs. So between now and May 9th you could potentially get another 8000 snakes that way, for a total of 12900. So, ignoring the 2000 you've already got and any extra snakes you might earn from trading, you could still win all the items. Elissa - as promised, dropped off about 150 eggs in your town last night. Speaking of photos - I've heard there is a USB stick you can buy and then add as many on-ride photos as you want for 99c each? Are these valid at all Six Flags parks or just the one you buy it from? I don't usually buy on-ride pics but this would be a fun souvenir from my upcoming trip, if I can use it at the other SF parks I'm visiting as well.

June 5th - we're spending a couple of days in Washington and this day worked out best to see a game. Sounds like I should cheer for the home team then This was something of a compromise - I'm really into sport but my brother isn't a fan, so he didn't want to spend much on the ticket. So we're sitting infield gallery level, front row. Cheap enough and still (hopefully) a decent view.

While we're in the USA my brother and I have decided to head to a baseball game, so we're seeing the Nationals play the Mets in Washington. I basically understand the sport but is anyone able to fill me in on whether either of these teams are any good, players to watch for and any other tips to help us enjoy the game more?

Soarin' is now listed as closed until May 28 (last day of the calendar currently available) along with Space Mountain. I'm hoping they are just covering themselves and will have the rides open earlier than this, from a park operations perspective I doubt it's ideal to have three headliners down at the same time. I'm heading there in just over two weeks, personally I don't mind giving Soarin' a miss but my brother hasn't been to Disneyland before so it'd be a shame if he doesn't get to ride it that or Space Mountain at least once.
