^ This is a pretty legitimate discussion as the advertisement can affect the park negatively, maybe not with enthusiasts but with the GP who doesn't always use the websites or social media to find out if it really is open. -

I think they are more concerned with the potential of an angry GP than the coaster nerds being upset sir. -

I will respectfully disagree as I do not see a problem with someone backing out for those reasons. To each his own though. -

I'd rather wait through the delay and have an incredibly awesome one of a kind ride over them going for a run of the mill GP pleaser. I'll be interested to see and hear about the fixes that will occur, also curious to see how long of a delay this sort of thing will cause. -

I will hope that it has a lower height restriction as we will probably visit next year and it would be cool to have something bigger for my 4 year old ( by the time we go) to ride. -

Is it us being fanboys or you that has the irrational view and since of entitlement? I am also curious why you have to buy tickets into the park ahead of time instead of just buying them when you get there? -

So you want everyone to jump on the hate train with you because you had a bad experience? -

There is a lot of boo hooing going on here both ways about this. I get why people would be upset about it not opening but be real here you knew it was a possibility of it not opening. It would be nice of Dollywood to offer tickets for a return trip but it is a bit ridiculous to expect it. I am pretty sure I went to Cedar Point for four days in June the year dragster opened and it was down all four days, we didn't receive or expect free tickets back. If you're not happy don't go at all, I am sure Dollywood would be fine without one less pessimist dragging their feet through the park. If the thing opens a week or two late it really is not that big of a deal when it will be up and running for years to come. For me I will keep watching this testing video over and over and wait patiently for a new one. -

I'm just exciting to see a testing video. I guess I'm easily satisfied -

Has anyone checked on Guy? His world may be crashing down at the moment with all of the puppies perishing and Dolly not having magic to believe in anymore. -

Well I think I was a perfect little angel at Banshee Bash.

I had hoped to one day join one of the tours, especially a Japan one. With having little ones it had not been in the cards for us. I hope they return as well even if I didn't make it on one I love following the updates and trip reports from everyone. A thought for if they ever return, you mentioned needing to get to know people beforehand, Maybe require they attend one of the bashes or some event you're doing first before they would be allowed to join. I know it isn't much and you still wouldn't have time to really get to know them but it does seem better than going in blind. The vets that are typically there could also report back to you if there was an issue with one of them. Sorry people suck.

All I see is two smaller coasters is one small-ish park that bring big airtime and bigger thrills than most of the big parks with their big coasters. -

I have one free day before boarding my cruise in Orlando. I have decided that free day will be spent at Disney's Magic Kingdom. Since I am a complete noob to anything Disney I am seeking out some info that i am a little confused about on their website. Ill be going the second Saturday in February next year. Realistically with only one day on a Saturday that time of the will we get much done? Anything we cannot miss? Any tips or tricks you would suggest for a one day visit to maximize what we can do? Are there any one day trip reports someone can point me towards? -
So the cruise leaves on a Sunday at 4:30 from Port Canaveral. I have a few questions. How does boarding work? do they schedule a time for you or do you just show up whenever before departure time? We will most likely have all of Saturday free, by the time we go my son will be 3 1/2. I was considering planning it to where we do one of the Disney parks for the day. With just one day and having never been before what park should we do? are February Saturdays usually crowded?
