  1. Trabants have occasionally disagreed with me but that's about it.
  2. Regarding STR coming down, I don't feel particularly extreme either way. I'd rather see the land devoted to a better ride or 2 and continuing the thematic area that is the Frontier Trail if it's coming down. But, I feel it's quite possible a water park expansion and reconfiguring of the challenge park may be in the works. I think the latter's more likely due to the popularity of water parks and trends with Cedar Fair investing heavily in their waterparks (not including Wild Water Kingdom) of late. I do miss Mill Race and WWL and would be thrilled to see a classic log ride similar to one of those coming back. Awhile back, someone mentioned the idea of a dark water ride and I think that would be just the ticket, that site has seems to have good bones for that. We'll see what happens! Cheers! edit: I meant to add that I never once rode it. I end up at parks on my own more than riding with friends, and with very few riders on the damned thing every time i was there, it really didn't seem worth it at all. I doubt I would have disliked it, but was never drawn to it like I used to be by the oldies.
  3. Did you ever ride the one that used to be on the main midway? I recall riding it once the first year that I ever visited the park and believe that it used to be close to where the Scrambler is now. I think that would be cool if they brought this back as well as the double ferris wheel (that used to be at the front of the park). And while they're at it, bring back the Frontier Town Sky-way too! Sadly, I never got to ride the Rotor at CP. I was a huge fan of the one at Geauga Lake though. I too would like to see the Frontier Sky-way make a come back too!
  4. I think this was a brilliant idea. What classic ride would you like to see Cedar Fair source for your favorite or home Cedar Fair park? My dream would be a Rotor at CP, perhaps on the Gemini Midway. Cheers!
  5. I just wish the final brake run wasn't followed by a station like on every other B&M coaster. I'd much rather they have a launch or an inversion with a slow heartline roll and a bunch of inversions and airtime hills. Some fire and explosions would be cool too. I'd prefer a Jojo roll through a freezing cold waterfall prior to returning to the station, which is themed to an enormous family-dryer (complete with warm air).
  6. Thank you for breaking up the senseless arguments lol. My pleasure! I have to say, I've probably spent way too much time watching the construction, but it's still fascinating to me every time I do!
  7. Looks like the final part of the break-run is going to be completed soon, seeing as it's onsite.
  8. There are going to be so many great angles to view this coaster from. That one shot from the midway....sorry I need to go somewhere private now....
  9. Thanks for the great pics today TPR! I would like to say that the ones my local paper took are absolutely terrible in comparison. Cheers to a beautiful creation at CP! I also really like the colors.
  10. Ask if they are planning on a media day as with Banshee and Gatekeeper please. Though not an entirely new ride, I don't recall them doing a similar event with Rougarou, instead they did something with LeBron James' charity (which is certainly a good thing to do).
  11. Wow, that was beautiful! A tearjerker, if I might say. Thank you for sharing!
  12. Looks like a big support (another V shaped one) and the last two (3?) track pieces that would then connect with the holding brake are what's currently on the site. Fun! Really interesting to watch the process.
  13. Tony Clark did a periscope earlier today and I believe he said a combined piece would be going up but we'll see!
  14. I've always been partial to Gemini's logo as well as Raging Wolf Bobs'.
