  1. ^Roller Coasters, especially B&Ms are ridiculously expensive. You get what you pay for. You buy a Vekoma, you get the sub-par Vekoma experience . You buy a B&M you get the ultra-smooth B&M experience. You buy an Intamin, you experience downtime. B&M could take any Vekoma ride and make it 200x more comfortable. The reason they chose B&M is a no-brainer.
  2. I suggest getting rid of the NL CTRs. It's quite obvious that they have taken a toll on your computer. And a lot of things are out of whack. Mantis is floating over the midway, CP&LE RR is intertwined with Maverick, and Raptor's cobra roll is far to close to Corkscrew.
  3. ^Nitro & BTDK are actually both near identical in layout. X-Flight also has a small footprint and would cost about the same ($15 million approx), a small-sized wing coaster like that would do wonders for the park. Such a unique attraction that can't be found anywhere within it's target audience. 2016 would be the next CF B&M coaster, so we will see. But as I previously stated, a waterpark expansion or possible makeover, might be the focus for the next few seasons.
  4. Banshee cost $24 million, GateKeeper cost $25 million. I can see a new family coaster, something under $10 million. Honestly, I see the waterpark being expanded before anything, then maybe a dark ride. I don't see how a coaster would be top priority for a park like this
  5. ^I think they would want to open up and utilize the uniqueness of the lake, rather than close it off and use it for one attraction that severely limits expansion.
  6. ^That's actually pretty decent. The stock is at $40/share. Not sure what you are talking about... Sears Holdings Corporation's stock price is at $38, yet their revenue has been in the red (eleven digits) for years. Well, this whole post-bankruptcy status is what I meant. After the restructuring, I'm sure their creditors are still hot on their tail. Its bank lenders only recently approved to lower the borrowing rates and approved the company's ability to use its $200+ million cash on hand. My OP: the company is still far from being financially stable.
  7. Friday, May 10, 1996 Devin Smith - park spokesperson Valley Hills is proud to introduce the worlds tallest vertical drop ride, ZER0, new for 1996! Towering 272 feet into the horizon, ZER0 will provide guests with an exhilarating free fall experience, matched by no other. Riders will board one of five gondolas then ascend the immense tower at a brisk 11 mph. At apex, riders will be suspended 272' above Valley Hills, with absolutely nothing beneath their feet. Anxiety will begin to build, anticipation is at its peak, rider's survival instincts engage as they prepare for the inevitable drop. Riders will then experience nearly 4 seconds of zero gravity during the free fall, reaching speeds in excess of 60 mph! Truly a world record breaking attraction, that can only be found at Valley Hills. -Devin Smith
  8. Still better than a Vekoma Boomerang. Wow, I'm surprised no one was able to guess this one. I thought the small footprint & the deep hole would surely give it away. I thank you all for the feedback!
  9. 20's Thunderbolt, Kennywood 40's Comet, Hersheypark 60's Blue Streak, Cedar Point (one and only from the 60's, don't care for it honestly) 70's Gemini, Cedar Point 80's Magnum XL-200, Cedar Point 90's Raptor & Mantis, Cedar Point 00's Millennium Force, Cedar Point 10's Sky Rocket, Kennywood
  10. ^Given the company's financial status, they need all they can get.
  11. ^Outside of B&M, yeah, nothing spectacular.

  13. Leviathan arrived with "giga coaster" labels.
  14. ^Basically, that. Ideally, you want to at least break even on your investment. If SFSL spent $3,000,000 on a few small flat rides, they'd wan't to at least receive $3,000,000 of additional/new revenue. However, when doing business, the likelihood of a strong net income is what makes or breaks the deal.
  15. I think this is a neat concept. Great selection of attractions and themes. However, Survivor Island and the Flood Zone should be merged together since there is barely a difference between the two. And I don't find anything about The Flood Zone to be too spectacular to grant it it's own land. Themed areas should be 90% shops, eateries, events & rides, and maybe two or three coasters sprinkled throughout the park. Universal Studios Florida is a great example of this concept. Anyways, the GCI looks amazing! So twisty, and the first drop looks intense. The launch coaster is the same, just more of it. Great layouts! If I were to come here I would ideally like to spend $0 . But I can see myself dishing out at least $50 (easily) for admission. $70+ doesn't sound too bad, as long as you offer some decent food at a reasonable price. Reasonable is a medium fry, cheeseburger, and a drink for around $6-$7. There certainly is a lot of variety offered here, I could definitely see myself coming back, probably with friends.
  16. That would be a costly investment. That would require a complete overhaul of the restraint system. Rule of thumb: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
  17. ^ I personally don't see SeaWorld Entertainment ever considering this property.
  18. Even though I know this is a joke, I highly doubt anyone here has good enough credit for B&M to even consider a meeting.
  19. Here comes the most pointless "keep it under wraps" situation in years. The cat is already out of the bag.
  20. The radusi of the turnatound is awfully tight. It could possibly be something similar to an inclined dive loop / immelmann, as I previously stated.
  21. ^^The radius is simply to small, that's all there is to it.
