^ We havn't really finished it yet, we have loads more track by the literal bucketful at our use, so we don't need to invest more, and I will show my brother SScoasters, hopefully he takes those recomendations seriously, because every time I show him a realistic layout he gives up. We're currently working on making the transitions smoother, and making the first launch alot slower and the post-launch hill smaller to show some difference in height and a smoother transition into the lift we plan on adding. We're also working on the support structure, which my brother was REALLY lazy with. I only did half of the first hill, which was meant to be the full hill, which you may notice had a whole lot better support structure than the rest of the ride, which my brother made. To close off, thanks for the recommendations!

LOZ Skyward Sword on Hero Mode, currently in the middle of your first visit to Eldin Volcano. Of course, being in Hero Mode, I already know where to go and what to do, so i'll just be in, out, and on to Lanyaru Desert.

1. Crowds are EXTREMELY light from mid-March to late April, you'll have almost no problem dealing with crowds especially on opening day. You should still take advantage of being able to get there early, as the crowds on rides like BatClone and SuperClone can get some long lines later on in the day, no matter how long the rest of the rides lines are. 2.Yes, the park will be open the next day, Sunday, March 17, it is open on weekends from March to Late May/June 3. The park hasn't released park hours yet for some strange reason, but I would expect it to open around 11AM and close at 8PM on both days. 4. All rides will be open that day with the slight possibility the new ride for the season-SkyScreamer-will be open. Furthermore, I will not be going, on opening day, but I would expect some fellow TPR-ers to be there. Further-Furthermore, you should definintly go, SFOG has changed ALOT since 2004, and you might find some old and new suprises, especially with two days to visit the park, be sure to ride all the smaller coasters, (Canyon Blaster, Dalhonega Mine Train) and in the back seat, looks can decive you, these coasters can give a pretty fun ride, especially on Canyon Blaster, which provides forces in both the front and back seats on the first little dip that you REALLY don't expect. EDIT: ^^ Easter's on March 31st this year!? What?! I do agree with you on the Easter crowds though, we go EVERY Easter for that reason.

TPRMemes: Amusement Park Bad Luck Brian!

So when will this start again? -
I can't really make good K'nex coasters, BUT, my brother sure can, so this is a thread dedicated to our creations. Pictured below is Golden Dragon our latest (and only) coaster, the pictures were made with a 3DS camera, so don't expect anything special. Look! It's a dragon! Yep, It sure is a dragon. Artsy, kinda.

Yeah-it doesn't seem like the park is making a very big deal out of it. They made a huge deal out of Dare Devil Dive and now this breaks a height record for the park, an we hardly hear anything about it, if that. What's going on? You basically answered your own question. SFOG isn't promoting this ride that much because it isn't a coaster. DDD brought some cool elements that the park has never seen, and it was the first of its type to be in a Six Flags park, so it was unique. SkyScreamer is located at many other parks around the U.S. and is just not that marketable. It's a flat that spins you up and down a tower, not really much to market. Yeah, but at least they could do a construction update, they did a whole podcast AND live construction update for Monster Mansion. But when we lose a classic ride and get a ride higher than EVERY ride in the park, we don't even get a construction update. EDIT: Plus, at SFGAdv. their SkyScreamer got alot of hype, and it wasn't even the tallest ride in the park. Seriously, with the "Supah Tall" things the GP want these days, you would expect SFOG to take all the marketing oppurtinities that are thrown at them!

Ooh, lookie, a GIF! 10/10

I'd bet screamscape will have both things up in time, anyways, I checked Facebook and the SFOG website, but we still have no SkyScreamer construction, and i'm not searching the web, after that Smiler promo ( and realizing the names are very similar) I'm still shaking from it. ( Why don't you just smile?)

My god, that promo video scared the crap out of me! Chair moves foreward, then girls face turns with an extremely creepy not human smile. -

Weird/ Out of place coasters
Her0ofLime replied to nhman93's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think those would go in the strangest layout thread, as, they are more strange than out of place. (Does this count as advertising?
