This is kind of off topic as far as VA Tech, but not for school shootings. Well, I went to see my school's version of "So You Think You Can Dance" and it was awesome and everything was going great until the show ended two hours after it began! I was thankfully one of the first people to leave to try and beat the crowd otherwise I would have been right in the middle of the shoot out! Anyway, once everybody was outside of the student center I heard everybody behind me screaming so I turned to look at what was going on and everybody was screaming and running across campus and then the cops showed up! They blocked the road so I had to go a different way home, but I heard that they don't think anybody was shot.....thankfully! Everybody was running out of their dorms....it was crazy and very scary! I was just thinking today in class what if this happened at my school and what would I do! Then I figured that since my school is just a little community college that this more than likely would not happen, but I guess I was wrong! I just hope that nobody was shot!

So out of all of the members here nobody likes country music? I find that hard to believe.

I'm trying to help my friend Jason out by helping him get the word spread out about his music. He performed in the Honky Tonk Saturday Night show in the Crystal Pistol at SFOG last year and he is also going to be in the new country show in the Crystal Pistol called Days Go By. So if you like country music or maybe even if you don't, then you all should check out his website and his music! www.jasoncoleybyrd.com and his myspace is www.myspace.com/jasonbyrd101 Here are two videos of Jason, one from the SFOG show from last year and the other is from the other day at the 3 Bears Cafe in Marietta, GA. Nevermind where it says "Jason Byrd" because he now goes by Jason Coley because someone else has already signed a record deal using the name Jason Byrd so now there is less confusion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eF1sXQMWgoI

Goliath at SFOG! I love the front seat for the view on the first drop, but the back has some crazy air all the way down! I love any seat on Goliath!!! -
Most Disappointing Coaster!

Superman: Ultimate Flight was not as good as I thought it would be, but I still ride it as long as the line is not too long. The only really cool part is the pretzel loop. -
Family Coasters That Pack A Punch

Canyon Blaster at SFOG is pretty crazy in the back. It slings the back of the train over the first drop very quickly, which causes some pretty good airtime and the rest of the ride is fast to be such a small coaster. It is short, but I like to ride it if there is not a line. -
The nice thing about smaller parks...

I love going to SFOG as much as I can, but I like to try to go to Wild Adventures and Lake Winnie at least once a year. -
Waterparks, anyone?
justin22025 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yes I have had airtime on several water slides at Six Flags White Water in Georgia. The scariest one with the most airtime is Dragon Tails. You come completely off of the slide on the second and third hump. I think you go about 40mph on it. It really just depends on how much you weigh though. -

I really love water parks, but I only like the tube slides because the lay down slides kind of sting my back. My favorite water park is Six Flags White Water in Georgia. -
Trip Report W/Photos- The Georgia Aquarium

I went to the Georgia Aquarium on 1-21-o6, the day before you did with the science club from my college. It was huge and I loved the place, but we didn't get to do the 4D theater. I cannot wait to go back again with my family.
