  1. Nice that there is now a topic for the park as I realised there wasn't one a while ago before I went there.
  2. I watch pretty much all TPR videos on my desktop as I don't really use other devices.
  3. There is. Look at the picture above.
  4. ^On top of that, it would never be much of a problem as standup rides can't have the same fast transitions and rotations as normal ones. Maybe going from a sitting one to a standup would be an issue, but not this.

  6. Seconded. The entire reason Mantis started sucking was because of that horrible trim. If it isn't removed the ride will still be sub par. It has potential to be an excellent coaster with that layout! Just let it be awesome, CP! I think that making the MCBR brake the train less would make a bigger difference as it's in the second half where I felt it was lacking speed (and it has some potential in those transitions).
  7. ^I don't know about gerstlauer but I think what B&M does best is these multi-inversion coasters. The fact that they were supposed to have made DF originally is another reason why they are mentioned, I guess.
  8. Yay!! The colours look sweet too. It's also great that this will be "reviving" the coaster increasing its lifespan.
  9. I think they mentioned 30 m/s which would be 67 mph. Interesting

  11. ^From what I've heard, not really. But they did make the maximum height restriction quite low.
  12. ^I do think it's a shame that standup coaters are no longer popular. Yes, most of them were a bit rough and they're gimmicky but so are 4d coasters and other types of rides. I've said this plenty of times but I'd really like to see B&M building some new ones now that they have the vest restraints as well as less forceful layouts which is actually not so bad for standups due to the pressure on your legs. I'd be very happy if a park announced one now (not that I think that's going to happen)
  13. Rough? Are we going on the same ride? I've never been on it when it wasn't typical B&M smooth as glass. I haven't ridden in the back in quite a few years, so that might be a little different. Also... it's funny that people are saying it's rough, considering it shares a park with VIPER and X and (formerly) PSYCLONE, which are some of the jerkiest rides I've ever been on. I haven't been to the park but I suppose people don't compare a B&M to a rough arrow as they were never expected to be in the same league of smoothness, right?
  14. ^Can we create a new category?

  17. ^Sometimes B&M supports can look messy when two or more sections of track go near each other and it's not always easy to use one support for all. Still, I think they overall look elegant.
  18. In 2012 I rode baco five times and , yes, it was pretty rough (especially in the 5th car which was the closest to the back I was). However, this year I went there on opening day and the first coaster I rode was baco just at 10 a.m as the park opened. I got the last row and thought I was going to die. Then, to my surprise, it wasn't really bad so that's why I was asking.
  19. Saaaaaaaaame. Me too However, I'm counting on riding wildfire in 2016 assuming that next year I won't go to the US (which I probably won't)
  20. ^El toro for me too simply because I've been very very close to riding it but couldn't
  21. ^That's right. It's essentially the crazy pacing that does it for me. Me too. They look so simple yet everyone loves them. I want to find out how they ride!
