Couldn't agree more. I enjoy forceful coasters, but I don't think a coaster needs to be forceful to be a great ride. Many of my top coasters definitely wouldn't be considered the most forceful ones out there, but after all, I'm a coaster enthusiast because I love roller coasters, not because I love g-forces.

^Even if they aren't animatronics, I think some bat figures hanging from the ceiling of the station would be a nice detail. -
What is your favorite Roller Coaster?

I agree with everyone saying Outlaw Run! -
Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

That is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to the GP! A friend of mine constantly refers to Outlaw Run as "The Outlaw Run." -
Highlights of Your Season?
BenFreeze replied to 2012jarrett's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
*Best moment: Riding Outlaw Run with a friend who just-so-happened to be in Branson at the same time. *Best individual ride: Outlaw Run, back row. *Funniest moment: Riding Wildfire several times in a row in the pouring rain, being the only ones on the train. *Scariest moment: The fear of Outlaw Run being closed (Only to find out that it was at the time.) *Strangest moment: Waiting in the station for Patriot at WOF as both trains are cycled empty many times. *Favorite individual park visit: Silver Dollar City, of course! *Nerdiest moment: Collecting as many SDC-related maps and brochures as I could find! *Favorite new experience: Outlaw Run! As you can see, I really enjoyed Outlaw Run. -
Worlds of Fun (WOF) Discussion Thread

^Sorry, but I can't really help you there, for I don't have much experience with specific weekends. I have heard that Friday nights in early October are decent, though. -

^I went to Haunt twice last year, both times on a Saturday. On my first visit, the crowds were pretty heavy, but later that night just about everything had no wait, included the mazes. The temperature was also around freezing at that point. The next visit, crowds were very heavy and stayed consistent through out the night, and apparently it was the park's busiest day on record, as the weather was great. I would say your best bet is going on a day when the weather forecast is a bit chillier than normal. -
Breaking Bad. 'Nuff said.

^I agree. American Thunder has had a line at least down the stairs to the station every time I've visited park. -

Home park: Worlds of Fun Favorite Park: Silver Dollar City I guess SDC could be considered one of my home parks, as it's only 3 hours away. -
The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread
BenFreeze replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Here's an idea: Worlds of Fun will have RMC completely re-track Timber Wolf with their topper track or I-Box steel track, and turn the double up at the end into a double barrel roll straight into the brakes. -

^I think it would be cool to see a drop tower like Falcon's Fury, but with seats tilting to face up at the sky instead of down at the ground. Free falling backwards, seeing nothing but the sky and tower would be awesome! -

The Fireworks Factory concept looks interesting. I also wouldn't mind seeing a revamp of Fire in the Hole. Updated animatronics and effects could do the ride wonders. -

^The fact that Boomerang goes "forward and backwards" amazes some of them, so I wouldn't hold your breath. -
