Sounds good! You might be disappointed though, I'm actually a really nice guy in real life and not the total dick that I play on the internet . As for the TPR tours, I've been getting the emails for the trips lately... apparently I did something to get myself in the cool kids club (I really appreciate that by the way). I haven't been able to make one of these trips happen yet but hopefully Brit and I will be able to get on one of them soon. Damn I need more vacation time... Same situation.. . who knows, maybe we'll finally meet on a TPR trip love the site, love the attitude, and completely understand where Robb is coming from (in some of the earlier posts).

Looks like y'all had/are having a great time. spending a trip like this with y'all is on my bucket list, so someday, I'll have time off to join y'all! loving the report thus far, and can't wait to see the rest!

for what it's worth, we spent 3 days in the park, with only 1 day (Sat) using FL+ the other days we took our time, and we rode everything we wanted as many times as we wanted. as well as enjoying playing pinball in the arcade, winning tickets, people watching, and watching the evening shows (in previews still, but we watched it). I can't imagine spending the $$ for VIP, and rushing thru just to get the rides. I'll take the multiple days, and enjoy the experience.

um. . Rattler had the 2nd drop off the quarry wall. (and Iron Rattler kept that, tho now it bunny hops into a dive). Superman has drops off the quarry wall too

I prefer it in the evening, since the light doesn't shine into the building via cracks near as much, and it enhances the ride. my rule of thumb is always La Vibora (bobsleds) 1st. . . it's fun, and the line is always super long (and slow moving). . so hit that 1st thing in the park. (But I haven't been since they redid Gotham and added Riddler, Catwoman or Joker.. so maybe most folks go that way, and not to the left for the bobsled)

they've moved it several times previously. so yeah.. wouldn't surprise me.

it smells. and the 3D effects are cheezy as hell. we LOVED it

yep.. I'll never understand those that can't just enjoy a park for what it is, and have to bitch and moan. in the past couple of years, SFoT got: Justice League dark ride, Joker Coaster, Riddler pendulum, and Catwoman next gen enterprise. not to mention the beautifully realized Gotham City area improved with these additions, an the perfect retheme in Harley's Spinsanity. go back a year before, and Texas Skyscreamer. the park has Shockwave, NTAG, and a bunch of other coasters. go enjoy, and stop complaining. sheesh.

one whole section of Fiesta is "waterpark".. so they get quite the crowd anyways (and the raft ride always has a long line, as does the Bug's Bunny flume). but yeah, I don't think they'd take the water ride out of that side of the park without replacing with a water coaster or something along those lines.

the Knoebel's website does show Scenic Skyway as "open" today. so must just be a breakdown of some sort.

yep. . I got told many times they were "tearing it down". . particularly at Brews and BBQ. .and we were sitting in the shadow of the dang thing, and could clearly see the new Red track! people are dumb, sometimes. EDITED: to add "sometimes". . as I was not basically saying everyone who's not an enthusiast is dumb, which seem to be what this has morphed into. (when I see certain people agreeing with what I posted? it means that what I posted, didn't come out as I intended).

the promo art for Future World is gorgeous. I'm wary about going back to Magic Kingdom complex in Orlando since all the high-tech upgrades (we're not techies at all. . and last time we were there it was still paper fast passes. . . pre magic bands). but yeah, we're absolutely going to be going back by 2020 to check out all the changes. 2020 is my target plan now

I've said before, and will repeat. hands down my favorite ride ever at SFoT, and I was gutted when they removed it. it never had folks in line to ride, and was so much better (and scarier) than it looked from the ground.

Yeah, it's not like Cedar Fair announced four new roller coasters for 2018... Swallow your pride bro. My statement still stands. Just because something is trademarked doesn't mean it will be used. Where's the pride in that? I'm all for speculating but when folks start stating opinion as fact it gets a little crazy. Remember shotrod? "Shotrod" ?? is that the sister coaster for the new one at Cedar Point, "butt-hole" I saw someone post that name in the CP thread, so it must be 100% accurate, right?

when we were there a while back, several coasters had "big boy" seats. . in particular Griffon and Alpengeist. are those still there?
