Rita goes 100 kph which is 61 mph, in 2.5 seconds, back on topic rate and review the video.

I have over 2 hours of alton towers footage and rita always seems slow but in real life it is quite fast, remember it only goes 61 mph, it is not in the league of other rocket coasters.

A new DVD about Alton Towers has been produced by a senior lecturer in media at Staffordshire University. Dr Gary Kelsall produced the DVD with help from London-based film editor Simon Lowe. Using images dating back to the 1870s and film archive from the 1920s, the Story of Alton Towers looks at the attraction from a historical and contemporary viewpoint. The DVD includes materials researched from Pathe, the BBC and private collections. Dr Kelsall, who has co-produced several documentaries, was given access to the Alton Towers archive as part of the research for his PhD. He said: "It was difficult choosing a direction for the documentary, as Alton Towers is significant in so many ways. As well as it being the former ancestral seat of the Earls of Shrewsbury, the house is well-known as being in part designed by the great gothic architect Augustus Pugin. "Many people don't realise that Alton Towers was first opened to the public as far back as the 1830s." Dr Kelsall launched appeals for materials, including old cine footage, photographs and documents, and organised interviews with former staff and visitors. He added: "We could only include so much in a single documentary and are already thinking of making a second, this time perhaps concentrating a little more on the house and gardens. In any case, all the many materials collected, including filmed interviews, will be donated to the Alton Towers archive." This DVD does not just look at the present day but over 200 years ago aswell so expect old arhive footage aswell as the modern to make an all round Documentary, and they are already talking about a second DVD.

What The, You think megafobia sucks, it is one of the worlds best woodies, it has great airtime so I think megafobia is way better than the new eurofighter.

I never get sick on roller coasters but, on a few flat rides I do feel a bit dizzy at the end.

I was refering saying that Ritas trains are the best looking, not for how comfy they are, and the majority of intamin coasters are rough, rita is not the only one, as for which is the most comfy Air at alton towers the trains are lovely.

Rita queen of speed offers some amazing airtime on its camel backs, so I would say Intamin make coastrs with the best airtime.

My favourite themed ride has to be nemesis at alton towers, the whole concept and design of the ride is just amazing. The b&m invert is located in a big ravine with tunnels, blood waterfalls, and the station is a giant monster. Here is a video of nemesis and its theming I made. You've got it wrong humdinger will not be the name, as that was a name used in thorpe parks JOKE poll, of which name to use, some of the REAL possible names known are Johnny Rocket, Hot Rod and Burnout, also some reason thorpe have now taken the entrance picture and the robin picture off there site, as it is beleived a uk coaster forum stumbled upon the name, we know that the top of the sign says AMITY SPEEDWAY, when you enlarge it, but the real name is yet to be known it should be released in a few days now.

Im proud to be British, but people in britain dont seem to be very patriotic, its just the way we are.

There is one problem with the power swings is that they always break down, like rush at thorpe park, it keeps breaking down.

I read that article aswell but i was not sure whether it was true or not. But i prefer oblivions drop, the dive into the hole is amazing, and the second drop of sheikra were it goes into the tunnel is a copy of oblivion same as g5 being a copy of oblivion, oblivion was the original and in every dive machine built there is something that is copied of oblivion.
