Im not sure if this is the right forum, it just said links in the subheading so well I will post in here then. Well a new Alton Towers site will soon be open, the 2 webmasters have been working really hard on the site for the past few months and it is coming along nicely. But there are so many alton towers fan sites but what makes this one different. Well, we will have the standard features. Photos, News, Guides Map. Videos etc. But there are some amazing new features that we cant release yet as there are still not complete yet, but it is something no other site has and will blow you away. Rita is very short BUT, the launch is brilliant I loved it, the airtime is amazing very nice. Also it is intense. The ride is really unique compared to other rocket coasters and it has done alton towers well. This ride is really loved by the GP. Nemesis was the coaster that every park wanted to have. Alton towers just built it first. Nemesis was my first ever coaster and It will always be my top coaster. Intense, unique and well themed what more could you want.

I might go the day after opening, it will be a school day and the majority of the enthusiasts would have gone on the opening day.

That is a quote from thorpes Q&A section on stealth, so on stealths station the can load 2 trains at once saving mega time. The queues should be 1 hour 30 mins max. But 1 hour on average. But Im guessing. The queues will be made much shorter with this double loading, and with the live DJ and in line tv's and the ride next to the queue the guests will be occupied all the time.

Duration does not bother, and it dont bother the GP. So long as the ride is breathtaking (which it will be especially for the GP) then I would queue 4 hours for this ride. The queues have tv's and also you get to watch the coaster keep going round. If the GP queued upto 2 hours when oblivion first opened and did not mind then I guess they will queue 2 hours for this without any problems. Remeber to the british general public (who a large majority dont know TTD and KK are around) stealth will be like the worlds biggest and best coaster to them. In my school people are already planning trips to thorpe park because they are amazed purely by this coaster when they saw it on the fright nites trip in october. Stealth has already got a big line of people waiting to ride it and it is going to be a big hit.

The site is great, hopefully within the next few months more content will be added. People join the forums it would be a shame to see a site like this go to waste.

STEALTH UPDATE: Well the closed season is well underway and stealth is getting a much deserved landscape makeover, the whole area around stealth is being themed to fit amity cove a 50's fishing harbour. Stealth is meant to be the name of the car YOU race at over 80mph. The reason for the name stealth is not yet known but I beleive the speed of the coaster seems to make it look invisible. Also there has been rumours of stealth having Speakers in the back of the seats and the ride is meant to go to music or to add sound effects, and maybe also A guy talking to you. The ride is meant to be about you in the car STEALTH racing against another car you cant see. And with the speakers I can only come to a conclusion that It would be like the driver talking to you with sound effects etc. Also there as been rumours of a pool, (not for swimming but for decor) being built underneath the top hat. The area is being landscaped ready for febuary, and signs have been put up saying Amity Speedway Presents stealth. There is alot of exciting developments going on, and also NETS have been put up underneath the airtime hill for safety reasons. Just to let ALL you people know STEALTH was in the design stages YEARS ago because of planning permission this coaster was designed BEFORE kingda ka was ever designed so you cannot have a go at thorpe park as there rocket coaster was planned before kingda Ka. If you want to know why this is and how I know it is because of a few problems. 1. Planning permission in the UK is Much harder than in the US a project like this would have taken years to of most likely been accepted, as alot of compromising was taken place all the time, so the coaster must have been designed first, so stealth was planned before KK so if anything is a clone it is KK. How do I know this, Thorpes local council they had these plans for stealth submitted ages ago around 2003. And because a coaster is a clone does not mean it is crap, this coaster will have an intense launch the top hat will be intense and amazing some high G forces and Sick airtime what more could you want from a coaster.

US coaster enthusiasts, must remember not all european coaster fans can fly all the way to america just to ride a launched coaster so this coaster will obviously be a huge hit as it is something completely different for european enthusiasts and it is not to far away for many european enthusiats. Remember it is not the size that matters it's how they use it. Stealth will be an amazing coaster for the european GP and enthusiats, and why slate a coaster down due to its size, and stealth is not a clone, a clone is an identical replica and stealth has no downwards twist on the top hat, so it is a near clone. Also just to let people know stealth will have its own LIVE DJ operating from next to its station so the same song will never be repeated. Stealth will be an amazing coaster for all to enjoy. GET READY TO SCREAM.

I think STEALTH is the name of the car and that the car will be red and silver. I mean stealth is a good name for a race car.

why is that ?? Parents mostly. They don't really like to travel out of country just for theme parks and they say it's too expensive. oh, well! I've just got to live with the NM Rattler Hold on it says in your profile that you are 75, and you have not travelled out of the country. Is your age a error, and well done ncf, sounds like a good christmas present.

Safety, is one main reason, also the Over the top Restraints, dont have to be so tight against a person to hold them in the seat so this is a bonus if the ride has airtime, a bit more freedom. But safety is something that is the main factor.

/\ It is nothing to do with having a longer brake run. It is to to with the g' forces on the camel back, if there was not them brakes before the camel back the train would be going to fast and the negative, G's would be to extreme for human riders, unless you want to be knocked unconcious by negative g forces, I suggest those brakes are kept there. Also there are no brakes at the top of the top hat, the platform up the top is just for general maintenace uses.

STEALTH HAS LAUNCHED: Stealth has made its first maiden voyage, safely and smootly, Below is what the project team have wrote on the thorpe park website. Stealth Update, Friday 16th December 2005! Just to let you all know that at 7pm on Friday 16th December 2005 the first Stealth train completed its maiden voyage and safely returned to the station. This has been an amazing day for all of us working on the project and to say we are all very happy would be an understatement. It looks superb, very smooth, very quiet and it is sooooo quick! /\ One problem, how many schools will be planning trips and also what about colleges aswell, even though it is a school day I garuntee you it will still be packed out. Hopefully they will sell fast pass tickets online for opening day.

The only problem is its opening day is during school, it is a wednesday.
