  1. Kidding coaster: Put low friction on, make the ride really long, really compact, and make the train very very long. (Only use one train!)
  2. Supposedly you can see it from Griffon in the employee parking lot.
  3. I personally think it won't be a Beemer, Beemer has enough on it's plate already!
  4. There is a rumor (it seems confirmed even though there are no pics) going around BGWfans that black Verbolten track is onsite. Can anyone confirm this?
  5. Anybody think if B&M takes on launching and 4D coasters, that Beemer could potentially dominate the coaster market? (If they lowered their prices a bit of course )
  6. I'm not, but we can discuss our opinions here am I wrong? And I know I'm not the slightest bit right, but at least I gave my opinion. Am I supposed to always add "In my opinion" and "I think", because pretty much no one can know anything until it's announced. Try adding those to every place that would make sense, and see what I was trying to say. But anyway, does anybody think Beemer would use 2x2 cars? 2 people one row, 2 rows per car?
  7. I really like RoD, I do, but IMO, make the launch section a bit further to avoid paths/obstacles, and maybe make most of the ride closer to the ground. After the dive-loop snake thing, it looks awkward because it's so far above the ground. Just my 2 cents. But other than that great layout.
  8. That wouldn't work unless they used Arrow(-esk) ties....and also I'm not sure that the outside rails could support such a heavy train, not to mention the box structure would be Dive Machine size, and the track it's self would be extremely heavy.
  9. ^ Unless Beemer was to go "outside the box" (Pun intended), their box track wouldn't really work for that system. But I dunno if Beemer would try and tweek their track so it would work (Doesn't seem possible), or if they'd go for a new track design, but unlike S&S, they can't just add rails to the side of the track.
  10. I'm so scared, more scared than I would be than if they kept the Vekoma trains. Premier has never built an inverted coaster before, excluding their lil flyers.
  11. Is this like the game "Who can run across the railroad tracks the most times before the train passes?" Also feel bad he lost his leg to a Wacky Worm. But that poor chum.
  12. But isn't Alton Towers basically a whole? Which could mean Oblivion and Corkscrew are in the center?
  13. How so? Spinning close to the ground or pointing towards the ground at the bottom of a dive could be some terrific thrills not requiring a huge amount of height... Bigger is not always better... Yeah, but as I said before, the turning of the seats are the result of the coasters force, and the lower the force, the less intensely the seats would spin, and also if it were to stay close to the ground, it'd have less options of elements.
  14. A terrain 4D coaster kind of defeats the purpose.
  15. ^ Doesn't Alton have a height restriction? It'd be hard to make a good 4D so low to the ground/so slow. You'd need a lot of force to actually spin the seats.
  16. Looks like Raptor loses momentum really quickly (Not to mention the trims look like a MCBR), but does it lose intensity quickly? Or did it keep it up the whole ride?
  17. Since when have hypers not have boring layouts? Though I do agree, a lil' theming here and there couldn't hurt. :S Oh and maybe a log flume But actually maybe an underground section wouldn't be bad on the hyper.
  18. Would this be a body slide or a tube slide?
  19. It's definitely a crazy ride, especially the turn around, hearing the grinding of the wheels. But it still hurt.
  20. ^ How did you not get beat up? My head got screwed by those plastic headrests....
  21. There are much better rides out there than a Vekoma Boomerang.
  22. Wonder when they'll take out Flashback and what they'll replace it with. They really need to get rid of that POS, it's walk on all the time, only 1/3rd of the train is filled every run, and it hurts baddd. And SFNE needs an actual good coaster other than Bizarro and B:TDK. I will not live with 3 Vekomas in one park.
  23. I'd only allow a B&M launching coaster in the place of Blue Streak or Mean Streak.
  24. ^ Just ride TTD. And edit: ^^ I know, but are we really going that specific? "First launching coaster made by B&M that was built fully by B&M!"
