I would say yes. Late June through to mid July is one of the busiest times of the year. We went at a similar time of year two years ago and all the main queues were 1.5-2 hours. I wouldn't go again at that time of year without fastrack. While fastrack queues can and will get long, they only tend to do so in the afternoon, so if book them online and collect on arrival, you should get a head start.
^From what I can gather, there's been a couple of private events where attendees have been allowed to ride, but there's still no official word on when it will open. I'll be there in just over a week and I'm not holding my breath.
We're visiting Europa from June 21-23 and had expected it to be quiet, as it's just after the Whitsun holiday, but before the summer holidays. However, looking at the EP website, the hotels are fully booked on the monday night. Any thoughts on why this is, and how busy we can expect it to be?
My first looping coaster was the corkscrew at Alton Towers (I was probably around 8 or 9). I came off with such a headache, I was nearly put off riding any more large coasters! Although not long after that, I went on the corkscrew at Flamingoland (I didn't realise they were the same at the time) and loved it so much I rode it almost all day!
Fire's my biggest phobia. I can't even light a match! I also remember coming off the armageddon ride at DLP in tears because of all the fire. (I was only about 9 at the time though!)
Hi! I'm Dan from England. I've been into coasters for as long as I can remember and although I've been visiting TPR for a while, I finally decided to join!
