I think that the people who are really critical of this project should have a wait and see idea. The First part of phase 1 should be done by 2009 until then I feel it is not right to judge the project from concept art. This is mainly because what the area or ride turns out to be and the concept art can look drastically different.

I voted for the categories that matter. It is really screwed up that screamscape is even on their when you have the best website in the world competing against it.

^ I agree, but I was just rewording a part of Al's article today at Mice age. I also feel that dark rides add to the theme of an amusement park, such as Haunted mansion, If I Had Wings, etc. These types of ground breaking attractions are dark rides and are what Disney parks are famous for, which is why DCA is in desperate need of more than their 1 soon to be 2 dark rides.

This is going to be an awesome park and I feel that all of you who think that this extreme make over is really just a waste of the hard earn money you spend on Disney, Well it is not. The fact of it is they need to make this park more like Disneyland to make it a success and if other rides from other parks were successful, well maybe they could be just as successful over here as they were in WDW. We will also be getting a remodeled version of a Yesterland ride (New version of Flying Saucers)! Yay! Now if only they could bring Country Bear Jamboree to Condor Flats I would spend a lot more than a few hours to pin trade at California Adventure. Let's also remember that this is not all of the $1 billion make over and expect announcements of a few more dark rides and other areas getting their makeover.

This park is nice and small, but from what i hear will soon be getting a lot bigger. Also did you happen to see any construction of It's A Small World?
