  1. Awww, I didn't even know those were there. oh well!
  2. ^^It was my absinthe. I didn't even try to bring it back. Whatever was left after that night I just poured out. I did save the bottle though.
  3. OK! Enough talk about PCW! I don't care about PCW! This trip report is about the UK! Sheesh!
  4. Blackpool Part 3 And I leave you with the most awesome drink known to man, Irn Bru. I LOVE BLACKPOOL and there is a 100% chance of me returning one day The Gold Mine was another awesome dark ride. And it's totally a credit. This said something like "To see the World's Stupidest Animals look in here" (I can't remember what it said exactly) Noah's Ark was fun. Here is a cow that farts when you step on this thing Why they are keeping this track, I have no idea.
  5. My favorite Dan quote said to me: "Hi Dan." "I don't want to talk to you." WHAT A MEANIE!!!!!!! (lol, just kidding. ) (Actually, my favorite was when Derek dropped his phone and Dan pointed to it and said "Woman" so I would pick it up )
  6. Oh does it? I didn't know! Oh well, if you're in the back you're gonna get wet on the first drop! God, I love that ride!
  7. BEST FOOD EVER Wish i had had more time to enjoy it. And maybe eat some of the fries. lol. NEXT TIME!
  8. Well, I just don't get it. Obviously I have no inlaws!
  9. ^Tsk, just a flume?!?! Hehe. It's a crazy dark ride with FIRE, a backwards drop, awesome scenes, and an ICE ROOM with real snow! It's the best ride ever! Also, the first thing you do is go UNDER a waterfall, so unless you're wearing a poncho you WILL get DRENCHED!
  10. ^Rattums is dead!! He's been dead for a while
  11. Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Part 2 Blackpool may not have the best coasters of any park in the world, but the park has a lot of its own charm. Part of that charm are the many darkrides. I love darkrides almost as much as I love coasters. The ride ends with a small drop that does not get you wet. Inside the river caves Lots of rides at Blackpool are themed to be inside giant rocks River Caves was pretty neat too I love a little chub! Before we rode, we wore these cool hats and ate fish & chips. Someone remind me, next time I go to the UK, to bring some Ketchup with me. Awesome Awesome This is my favorite ride ANYWHERE! We rode it twice (with ponchos, not a drop!) It's ValHOLLER! Oh there he is, accidentally getting in the shot again. Someone should go through my PTR and count how many times he (or his arm or part of his head) is accidentally in the photo. But what's that behind him?????????? This isn't a dark ride, but it could be! Where's Derek? The Ghost Train is pretty cool, with a coasterish drop in the middle of the ride "Welcome to our world of toys!" I can still sing the tune. Oh god.
  12. Yeah, we totally would have had more fun had we migrated back earlier. And not had to worry about people stealing our seats!
  13. Not true! I only stop at every OTHER bathroom.
  14. ^It's totally a credit. Great pics, Derek, as always.
  15. Jeeeeez, what a downer! I was half teasing, because the only other suspended coaster I've been on is Iron Dragon.
  16. Day 6: Blackpool Pleasure Beach part 1 Blackpool is my favorite park anywhere, due to its crazy dark rides. I would have loved more time at this park; I will DEFINITELY be returning some day. Pretty and random. More pics to come! It was fast and intense, but over way too quickly! Avalanche was my first bobsled coaster After riding King Solomon's Mines, I was a little nervous about this ride. But it was AWESOME!!!! So much INSANE airtime! Somehow, this turns me on! Somehow, this turns me on! But that's just because it goes straight the entire time! Irn Bru Revolution: Proof that an Arrow ride can be painless I really love this park! Rollercoaster was fun, but I wish there hadn't been seatbelts. That would have been a crazy experience. Tommy, James, Dave, and Jody look SOO excited! Time to ride the soda can hypercoaster Blackpool has all kinds of crazy odd stuff. For example, this strange ticket booth No comment! It was fun! We also got some Bling action. What a strange name for a ride! Morning ERT started off on Steeplechase
  17. Day 5: Southport Pleasureland Southport was kind of disappointing to me. Two of their coasters were closed, and the flyers were dismantled. The funhouse was fun, I guess. Dave Thomas is my hero!!! Again, James leaves me speechless! Oh look, another closed coaster. I thought we had left Coney Beach behind us!! Hmmm... I don't quite know what to say! "Keep your butt in the seat at all times!" This ride is fun! I see you, stupid closed SLC Whee! Crazy crooked lift hill Cyclone ERT! I guess we won't be riding the flyers today! It really hurt, lol. King Solomon's Mines It's a cute little park. Closed. I was a little afraid of the wheel at first, but once I did it I was addicted. Derek didn't go on it a single time! James gracefully exits the slide. ERT in the funhouse!
  18. Day 4: Drayton Manor Drayton Manor is home to that X-Car Coaster called G-Force. I had been looking forward to that ride, but once I saw it in person, I knew it was going to be painful. The "lift hill" was cool, but after that my restraint killed me. I will definitely not be riding that again. We rode the standup with floor side of Apocalypse; that was fun and a unique experience for me. It is only the second Intamin drop tower I've ever ridden. Storm Force 10: We did not ride It's fun, I guess WOOT, a Buffalo themed powered coaster! Was this the indoor Waltzer?? I can't even remember! If this door is in frequent use, why is it padlocked??? Yawn Time for my 69th credit and first Intamin standup: Shockwave Ok, it really wasn't THAT bad, but I have no desire to ride it again. Here is where the fun quickly ends! This part was cool Pain
  19. LOL!!! I look really angry in that Noah's Ark picture!!!!
  20. My fear of ferris wheels started when that kid died on one at Fantasy Island. It was in like the early/mid 90s. The car fell right off. Needless to say, that ferris wheel isn't there anymore. But I won't ride those small ones that fit 2 people per car anymore.
  21. The most times I've ever ridden a coaster in one day was 23 times on Balder at Liseberg (Last week! ).
  22. Right now I'll say 75% chance of me going to Spain depending on the cost. 0% chance of Japan, and if I want to go to the midwest i'll just hop in my car and go. BOTBC should arrange their own trip some time
