  1. Thanks a lot indeed. This is what I wanted to know.
  2. I like going to the parks in March/April and in October because there are walkons on nearly every coaster so I can ride continously.
  3. I presume you have ridden this coaster thus I have some questions. What type of coaster is it? EGF is known because of a huge drop and shed load of ejector air. MF is recognized as a speed coaster. Goliath is famous due its unique Stengel dive. I rode EGF and Goliath so this is the only comparison I have at the moment. What's so special about Thunder Dolphin appart from a trick track section? Does it provide much airtime? Is it an ejector or a floater? And eventually the last thing that I keep bearing in my mind. There're no air gates on this coaster (picture). Its kinda strange, isn't it? Anyone knows why?
  4. Not that many yet but I hope to improve my coaster count in next a couple of years. Yet I have to ride a floorless coaster.
  5. Colossos at Heide Park is the same type of coaster. Its not a clone but they are very similar each other. Colossos is the most smooth wooden coaster I have ever ridden.
  6. The topic mainly created to make a poll. I thought it would be a funny question to ask. This is something I was wondering in the past. A lot of people are screaming while riding the coasters. Personally I prefer calm rides. Sometimes I laugh on the rides but I never scream.
  7. Silver Star is quite rough as for B&M. Rougher than EGF and Goliath.
  8. I don't think the park will be busy at all. Probably walkons on every coaster in the morning appart from Xpress. This coaster is very busy when the park opens. El Condor has long q-lines. Even worse than Goliath.
  9. Thunder Dolphin, Top Thrill Dragster, Xcelerator, Storm Runner, Kanonen, Linear Gale, Pegasus, Nitro, Nemesis, Oblivion, Hydra, Dragon Khan, Incredible Hulk, Powder Keg, Shivering Timbers, Blackout, Thundercoaster, Kingda Ka. These are my most favourite names. SheiKra sounds like Shakira but it is still a cool name.
  10. Ask the ride ops on Goliath (Walibi World) about the consecutive ride coaster record.
  11. A lot of boomerang coasters are rough but there's a new boomerang that uses newer trains (the newest one). It suposed to be more smooth. http://www.rcdb.com/ig2951.htm?picture=15 http://www.rcdb.com/ig2951.htm?picture=8 http://www.rcdb.com/ig2951.htm?picture=12
  12. I have heard that either. Although it really depends on the weather.
  13. X seems to be the scariest but it doesn't change the fact that I would ride it.
  14. I hope WW will add more decent coasters. Since there's a SLC I wouldn't expect a B&M invert, neither a wooden coaster, nor a B&M hyper coaster. That's why I think a floorless would be a better addition. As for thrill rides the park needs something like Slammer or Rush at TP.
  15. Well, there's a lack of theming but wait a second. Isn't it an amusement park just like Cedar Point? I guess so. It is all about thrills, not theming. It is not a typical theme park. I prefer amusement parks over theme parks because they spend more money on thrills rather than theming which is nice indeed but also very expensive. Walibi World needs 2 coasters. A floorless B&M and an Intamin tera coaster to be the best park in Europe. I belive it won't happen though.
  16. I rode Super Wirbel and Corkscrew, both this year and I can agree that Super Wirbel is much more rough indeed. Some people think Corkscrew at Alton Towers is bad while there's one more Vekoma corkscrew which is even worse .
  17. Eventually there's a coaster to competite against Nemesis. Surely it will be a great terrain B&M ride with loads of theming. I might take a trip there next year.
  18. I was looking for some onride videos and I found a link somewhere on Google.
  19. Walibi World is the best regional park with a lot of decent coasters. There's one of two Intamin mega coasters in Europe. I have done shed load of consecutive rides on it.
  20. Kanonen is the first rocket in Europe with a top-hat Well. It is 8) but it is such a small top hat. Stealth can be compared to Strorm Runner or Xcelerator. The only serious disadvantage is its layout which is short. --- http://www.thorpepark.co.uk/explore/2006/photo_diary_September_pull_through.asp
  21. What coasters do you consider to be the most rough ones? The most rough coaster I have ever ridden is El Condor at Walibi World. This is the very first Vekoma SLC. However I don't mind it being rough. It is not as bad as other enthusiasts claim it to be. Perhaps I haven't experienced any "really" rough coaster yet. Is Manhattan Express that bad? From the video it seems to be a horrible ride. How does it compare to boomerangs or SLCs? Is it because of the restraints? Well, share your thoughts.
