  1. I thought that the beast and magnum were both probably my biggest letdowns. Magnum just felt rough and old and the airtime was trying it best the whole time on the way back to break my thighs and the beast just kind of wandered around for about four minutes until it remembered it had to go back to the station.
  2. I loved the free feeling I had on skyrush and it felt like I could get thrown out at any time.
  3. I had a really tight fit on lightning run at Kentucky kingdom a couple months ago but I am around 6'5 and 280 so that one was probably just me. Also, had to have some help on el toro on the same trip(it was a rough trip for my thighs between those two and skyrush). Never had a problem or needed any help on mf and dragster at cedar point so I never found those two unaccommodating like other people seem to.
  4. I remember the brakes on xcellerator coming on pretty hard at the end at knotts.
  5. I used hotwire for wcb last year and it did not include parking. It was seven bucks a day last year.
  6. Every ride everywhere should have a single rider line.
  7. Anyone still looking for a hotel I just scored the knotts hotel for three nights for 65 or so a night on hotwire a few minutes ago.
  8. Don't forget the soundtrack that will break after a month and the flamethrowers.
  9. Just bought tickets for both days. Looking forward to another awesome weekend with everyone.
  10. I was just there today and the only two with a weight limit that I saw were the drop body slide with a 250 pound limit and the pink slide off in the corner of the park with a 180 pound limit. The pink one had a scale at the bottom of the slide to measure weight.
  11. In the world of fried foods, being fresh or not can make a world of difference.
  12. Not sure on this one, but I have heard they are both the same thing.
  13. Don't worry you will. Knoebels has all of the standard amusement park stuff but, they just have the best version of all of it. Just make sure you hit the flying turns first as the capacity of it is terrible.
  14. Just wanted to tell shane I really enjoyed the new park and will be back with a different friend on Monday so that he can experience it for himself too(thanks for the sweet half off discount too).
  15. I have full throttle ranked higher than gatekeeper too. I rode gatekeeper twice and was good for an entire two day trip and rode full throttle twice at last years wcb and am really looking forward to getting in some more rides during this years bash.
  16. It does look like they put a lot more thought into the visual appeal of the park than wet n wild did. Wet n wild looks like it was just thrown together as fast as they could. Can't wait to check it out for myself on Tuesday.
  17. You get a small discount if you are a club member but, you don't have to be. Anyone can go.
  18. Parks looking awesome shane. Can't wait to check it out for myself on Monday and use my sweet club tpr discount.
  19. Don't worry, wcb magic is way better than normal day magic. It's going to be a great time.
  20. Does all of hard rock/freestyle music park count in this thread? Been sbno for five years now with no end in sight.
  21. Count me in the loves skyrush camp too(although it did feel like my thighs were broken by fifth or so lap I took on it). I just love the non stop intensity and insanity of the layout combined with the constant amazing ejector air. I really see how its not for everybody though. It really does feel like the train is really angry with you and is trying the whole ride to get you out of it.
  22. I have been to three horror nights and two scary farms and the haunted mansion scared me way more than anything that I have seen at them. It was awesome.
  23. Just curious, did the loud car horn and lights at the end of the haunted mansion get you really good too? I just about jumped out of the car both times I rode it.
  24. The reason that I've always heard why more prefabs haven't been built is because they are pretty expensive for a wooden coaster. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but I heard el toro cost 12 million to build when the average wood coaster costs between 4 and 6 million. However, the extra money will probably save tons of cash and man hours in labor down the road with the much lower upkeep. It is a real shame that there are only four in the entire world.
  25. Going to have to go with el toro for this one(also wearing my el toro shirt right now). I would also like to mention phoenix but I'm not quite sure if its short enough.
