Quick question, Does anyone know why the person that is in front of the maze that lets you go in has a air horn? I noticed that right below their feet they have a air horn. I felt it was odd, I thought it was to let all of the actors know at once that the maze has closed and everyone has gone through.

Ya It was nice seeing you again Gumball sorry I never got a chance to talk. It was insanely crowded tonight, like stated above. I hope JMA sees how much of a attendance boost can bring in and keep Halloween Haunt(with a new name I would imagine). Tonight was the busiest I have ever seen the park in a long time, every ride had a decent wait. Something that I didn't post last night(I was on my iPad and the keyboard was a pain.) I had witnessed someone getting it trouble last night for touching the Overlord! It was a younger kid maybe 11 or 12 and his father had started arguing with the security when they had saw it and someone else had seen it.( All of this happened in the Club Blood line as well.) I just don't understand why people would bother arguing with someone when they got caught and there was witnesses, just doesn't make sense. On another note last night I had noticed that every scare zone had it's own sign, similar to Underworld Ally but not that elaborate. I don't think they were their last weekend but im not sure.

I would hate for that area of Santa Clara to turn like that, I feel it would be a big mistake to put the two teams together in the same stadium. A repeat of what happened this year wouldn't be good for the park or the area. For those of you don't know this years Raider/49er game caused lots of fights and a few shootings.

I love the way Vortex looks with the green and black paint. That's the one thing that the park needs to do is paint the coasters. Especially Demon & Vortex they are both really faded really bad. At the bottom of the first drop on Demon you can even see the white paint from when it was Turn of the Century! Vortex is just faded and peeling quite a bit.

Halloween Haunt was great, yet very busy tonight! Which is great for the park lets just hope JMA brings back this event next year. Talent was much better all around this week. The only scare zone that is still lacking is Dead Man's Cove. It seems that there is not enough actors or they are spending to much time on larger groups. I did went through all of the mazes except Wearwolf Canyon, I really didn't feel like waiting in the line for it. With just the very few scares that it had last week,I felt it wasn't worth it. Most of the rides had very short lines from what it seemed. I only went on a few.(Demon night rides are a must) Overall it was a great day and the boofet is worth every penny. I also met Nibbler, and Sunfire! The pictures are not trip report worthy, just some pictures of the talent and random Haunt pictures. Good views of Flight Deck in the Picnic Pavilion, but not as good Bay Area Day! ... Now we have some members of The Gauntlet and Underworld Ally dancing to a song that I don't remember the name of. Ruffles the Clown, just clowning around. Welcome to The Gauntlet! Big scary clown with a spider! Favorite picture of the night! Underworld Ally! Sort of hard to get a decent picture due to all the fog! Monkey driving a tank near Toy Factory! CarnEvil clown entrance,My favorite maze of the night.

I was thinking the same thing. In context, it seems like they just randomly named two rides that people would know, but that doesn't necessarily mean those two will stay. I guess all we can do now is wait and see and hope for the best... Here is where they want to build the stadium. Its hard to see but where the red circle is the location of the proposed stadium in Great Americas overflow lot.

I liked reading all the comments on the news articles to see what the GP thought of JMA buying the park. Most of them seem mad because they way they look at it if the 49ers investors could buy a theme park then they could build a stadium. For those of you that don't know the 49ers wanted to use tax money to pay for the stadium, which I find outrageous.
