The Invertigo wheels are still there! Maybe for those who work in the park you may want to ask if you can take one. I heard they were just going to recycle them! About the article it figures that the only state this would happen in was in California where everyone is sue happy. How do they know a ride op did it when some stupid kid wrote it. Plus I doubt any ride op would post it on a wall and haha look at these guys. Sorry for the blurry picture.

PSA: Before anyone complains that Vortex has a long line towards the end of the season and want to know why they are using one train only. Its because the Vortex trains take the most complex to rehab during the off-season. My guess is because of all the moving parts that it has compared to other coaster trains. *Post #100!

They actually told us that season pass purchases have gone up this year because of the buy a day get a season pass promotion that they had going on.

Thank You! I doubt we will ever know until something is offically announced. I guess some good news is that they did say attendance is up in the park. About the hearse they never said what they were going to do with it besides that its for Haunt. I would guess that it would be going in a scare zone. *Edit* I added a picture of the things the park gave us. Thank you again to the park for giving us all of these things! ^Nope we did here that Cedar Fair does have plans for the park. That the corporate people went out to the park and looked at the Invertigo site and supposedly have plans. Thats all we heard from them.

What most people don't realize is that it packs a big punch knowing its not that long of a coaster. I've heard people that have black out on Flight Deck!

^^This is going to be sad but I have never been on any other B&M inverts. From what I here Flight Deck is one of the most intense ones out there compared to the newer ones built.

]On Sunday 8/7/11 I went to Great America for TPR day at the park. It was a very awesome day with ERT on Flight Deck in the morning and a backstage tour in the afternoon. Oh and you cant forget the night ERT on Grizzly. During the presentation and lunch were learned some new Haunt details for this year and it is going to be a lot better this year. Anyway on to the pictures most of them well just about all of them are from the backstage tour. There are some park pictures in there as well. I had an awesome day today at Great America ERT on Flight Deck in the morning then ERT on Grizzly by night! I will be sure to do this event next year if it does happen. Also Halloween Haunt is going to be awesome this year no new mazes but lots more improvements! I will have a P:TR up at a later date that mostly has backstage tour pics but there are a few general park pictures also! I also would like to thank everyone that made this event possible! There is only a few family members that know about my obsession for coasters and parks. When ever I try to explain something to friends of mine they never seem to understand. Heck I have one friend who thinks CGA is still owned my Marriotts and that they own a bunch of amusement parks. When I told him the company was Cedar Fair he didn't believe me.

I responded to that today and just flat out said if you had a problem with them not letting her daughter ride she should have went to guest services and told them about it and not post it to the parks facebook as it will not get you anywhere.

How do they pick people to be part of the Haunt crew as a in maze and scare zone positions? Do you just submit a application and then go to the job fair and hope for the best of luck. Or do they make you audition and chose people that they like and put them into the appropriate spots?

They could max the height out at 227 ft which I believe is the same height as Drop Tower. Which is also the highest they could go due to the airport being near by.

Anyway I read on Screamscape that Cedar Fair purchased three Windseekers and according to him there is strong rumors that one could go to Kings Dominion and to Worlds of Fun. So that leaves one more, could it go to CGA I have no idea I know its not a new coaster but at least its a new ride and maybe we could see a new coaster in 2013.

^ I had heard it was a really bad ride and I was glad that it never did end up at CGA. I just wasn't sure why it had never made it over here. Whats a bummer about the whole thing is we lost the train because of it.

I was at the park today and it was busy for a weekday. Everything had a solid line but they seemed to move fairly quickly. Drop Tower was operating five cabins in the morning and early afternoon but then ended up going down to four cabins only which was a bummer. I also ended up getting stuck on Eagles Flight/Delta Flyer for a good 10 minutes it could have been less it had just seemed longer. Im not sure what happened I know one thing for sure is those cabins rock back and fourth quite a bit. It ended up being a good day and im looking forward to Sunday!

Got it!! Will the time of the backstage tour at CGA be announced when we check in for the day?

Does anyone know the reason why they didn't put Hypersonic XLC in at Great America? I know it was supposed to go in but they ended up sending it to Kings Dominion.
