I don't think the Starlight would fit that well in CGA because of the size of Great Americas Planet Snoopy compared to the other parks in the chain unless they brought it all the way around KidzVille. Well hopefully we can see something really good added to Haunt this year.

About RRR I remember during the Paramount day they use to have that trough shoot water all the way across the channel like that have it now and you would end up getting soaked no matter what. Then one year before the Cedar Fair takeover it went back and was just up next to the cement barrier where it wouldn't even touch you. The easy way to see what train you are riding on vortex is look towards the bottom facing the air gates you will see two numbers for example. If you go on train one and sit in the front you will see 11 which means train one row 1 and if you sit in the front on train 2 you will see 21 which means train 2 row one. It is also that same for Flight Deck but those two are easy to tell apart.

^Why would the 49ers buy Great America just for a garden thats like buying a house because you think it has nice grass when the house could have lots of problems it just doesn't make any sense.

I go to that mall a lot and always seem to see that fair around this time of year. I am always nervous to ride those portable towers because they scare the hell at me.

I am almost positive that I saw Angry_Gumball I was getting on the front of Grizzly with my brother and I saw you and your cousin getting in line at the back row. Im sure if anyone noticed but the candy store that is next to Panda Express got a new sign I believe and had also been repainted. If you go inside of the candy store they put a new trim around the store and on the ceiling they added trim type thing also it looks very nice I will try to get some pictures the next time I go.

Haha I saw those little knobby balls in the Vortex arcade tried winning some, came close but never made it. Nice trip report buy the way. All day I heard people saying that they were also taking of FireFall.

Well there used to be grass their before they took Invertigo out so maybe it is just marking where the sprinklers were so they dont bump into them when they were removing the ride.

Nothing was dug in yet but it did look the form for the foundation that the wind seekers have. But it could be anything at this point no one really knows for sure.

I just back from the park also. Everything was running very well and the Demon's red train seems to be a lot better also. I was able to to ride the second train on Vortex its still very rough. Now on to Grizzly the ride seems to have improved a lot with the first drop redone I even rode it twice! I think what they need to do this off season is retrack the main turn around, the first turn into that really slams you. It also was very strange seeing the former Invertigo spot just being dirt I did notice some orange flags in the ground but who knows what those are for. There also is a circle in the middle of the dirt not really sure what it is for. I think I saw Angry_Gumball also but I wasn't 100% sure if was him. Anyway I had a really good opening day at the park.

Im about to leave in a bit also. What im looking forward to the most is seeing how Grizzly is going to be this year with the new wood on the first drop.

^Thats a real bummer about FireFall although it is not my favorite type of ride. It always seems that it is waiting for replacement parts for something.

I just bought my Gold Pass at Costco for only $64! They are a lot cheaper there compared to online. If you are a Costco member I really recommend buying the Gold Pass there to save some money.

I will be going on opening day even knowing that Invertigo is gone I am still looking forward to rides and Flight Deck( Top Gun) and to see how much faster the Grizzly is now with the first drop retracked.

On the second video you can see the small child walking across that bridge in Kidzville today (not sure what that land was called at the time) does anyone know that bridge was taken down I think it went missing around 2005/2006 I had alway liked going across it.

On CGA's facebook a person wrote on their wall saying they had a current picture of Invertigo and what was left. I couldn't believe what was left it was just all rubble. I have included the picture down below. I know it is not the best photo but it shows us whats left.

I wouldn't really care how many people show up i'm up for some ERT at Great America and whatever else is include for the event.

That sounds like great news I can't wait until opening day to ride it. Is any one going on opening day I know I will be there.

I think everyone should just wait until 2012 and see what happens. All this season just keep a lookout on the old Invertigo site if were lucky we may see some construction I hope.

When PGA took down Tidal Wave why was it shipped to Six Flags? Where they going to build it or did Six Flags just buy it for the extra parts?

Also has anyone noticed the Great America does not have the new fancy web site design as the other Cedar Fair parks have. I know this would never happen but I think it would be cool if Flight Deck were to replace Kong at SFDK I know it would never happen.

Well my package came the other day. I got all THREE balls I had won I was very surprised that I had gotten all of them.

Here is the email they sent back to me when I asked them about my prize. "We've been estimating a few weeks for prize arrival, but it's starting to be longer than that, especially for early winners. We were delayed as we figured out our shipping process, and some prizes are going out before others, since we settled on a shipping method by prize, instead of by date. We're sending stuff out and it shouldn't be long now. Can't say when it's going out, but we're checking to make sure there aren't any errors with people's wins, and can tell if something has shipped." So hopefully there is an answer to us people that have not gotten our prizes yet.

^I would like to see where you read that CGA is NOT getting a new coaster in 2012. The park neither confirmed or dennied that there will be a new coaster.

^ Well just think they added Fire Fall when SFDK already had Voodoo.
