If what the local news says is correct they made it seem that the 49ers would have to re-submit all of the paperwork and what not all over again if they want to build the stadium in the parking lot; Im really not sure how true that might be. I also think that none of the rides are going anywhere, why do you think they took Invertigo out? It was the only coaster that Cedar Fair thought they could make a profit on at another park.

If they were to take Demon out then that would leave a nice plot of land for a good sized coaster. Even with two coasters gone and only one built I still would want a Windseeker to go in the park.

This whole thing seems really far fetched but its still too hard to say. If it is indeed going to be demolished I hope we start seeing teasers and construction going on for a new coaster. With them removing two coasters and no new additions the park might as well be dead, that's hard for me to say but its true. Im sure other people would agree with me.

I wish I could come along with you guys but Im having new internet put in so I can't make it. Maybe we can try to coordinate some sort of Haunt meet up?

^ I couldn't agree more! Just imagine how high the attendance could rise with a brand new coaster in the park. It could possibly bring people out from the greater bay area also.

^ I plan on going that Saturday also. I usually try to go every opening weekend when the crowds are very light. Since I have a Gold pass this year I plan on going a lot.

Where did they put the new enterence for Club Blood at? If I had to take a guess its where the old exit it for the Sky Tower.

^ I think that guy was either lying or knows someone high up at the park. I did a little facebook snooping to see what his job was at the park and I saw a picture of him what looked like he was just a park sweep/janitor. I don't really know if the park would tell him per say unless he knows someone that would be willing to tell him or if he came across some type of papers.

I really hope a Windseeker does come to the park. If they were seeing if the park could survive without Invertigo it did. This year attendance has even been up in the park compared to last year. I also can imagine Halloween Haunt to be even more crowded this year also which is what the park needs!

^One could hope right? I still hope that rumor is true about Cedar Fair buying 3 Windseekers. I believe only two have been announced so far.

^Thats what I was thinking when I saw all of those signs. I also thought there could be a lot of new merchandise coming in next year also.

There is one effect that has never worked on FireFall and I have no idea why. Its the water cannon that is supposed to shoot up similar to Pirates of The Caribbean at Disneyland. Does anyone know why it has never worked?

Its going to be a looping Aqua-Trax with dolphins and a tiger! Anyway I hope it is a eurofighter similar to Dare Devil Dive I just hope its a coaster.

^Well they did add pricing to the site for this year. I would like to see things being announced by this week with Rule Le Dodge closing down Monday to put in Carn-Evil.

My first choice that I want and hope that I can get is the Flight Deck/Delta Flyer/Rue Le Dodge area. If that is taken up I just want to try and get any of the coasters really. The three main ones I would want to try and get is Flight Deck/Vortex/Demon. I would be getting on where I circled in red then I guess I would transfer where the T is and go to the Great America station.

As was said by CGA_88, you can ask to be put at a certain ride. However, it depends on openings at each of the rides and amount of positions each ride has. Last season when I applied (at the second job fair in May) not all the rides had openings and when I asked what rides did, there was only a few-Firefall, Kidzville, I think Planet Snoopy, and a few others, I opted for Firefall the 2010 season and in turn when I came back this season, went back to Firefall. I'm sure if you go to the first job fair in January, they will have openings at mostly all the rides, I just made the choice to return to Firefall for ease of being certified for the positions at it. Once on the light rail, it'll take you directly to the park and the light rail station is right in front of the park on Tasman, near the intersection that exits out of Great America (across from the convention center) There is the pedestrian trail that runs next to the park, that leads to Agnew Road and to the back employee parking lot. Thanks for the info! I was planning on going to the earliest job fair to try and get which ride I would like. Thanks for clearing up the light rail for me also. I was trying to look at the map on the VTA website and seemed sort of confusing.

Im thinking about applying next year as a ride op for a summer job. Will they let you chose which ride you would like to work at? This next question is for anyone that lives in San Jose, Does the Light Rail take you you right to the park or do you have to transfer on a bus after?

Well the new show this year at Haunt is called "Zombies Gone Viral". If I had to guess its Zombies recreating viral videos.

I know what they are putting on the other side of the Action Theater now! An Invertigo simulation so that everyone will be quiet now. All jokes aside,I was in the park for the evening and all I have to say is night rides on the Demon are a lot better!

^Well there are two new shows, a zombie show that will replace fangs and the full production BANG show that Knotts had last year. Maybe a new 3D show also?

What if Great America pulled a Cedar Point and take their Log Ride and make a Maverick clone it that spot? I like Loggers Run but I would sacrifice it for a coaster.
