Theme Park Review's BLACK FRIDAY SALE!!!
robman replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yay I just bought a Club TPR membership! Does the $15 store credit coupon come in an email that i'm supposed to receive in a few hours? Or is it automatically applied to my account? I'm hoping to get a few DVD's or a shirt! -
How Old Are You & What Was Your 1st Coaster?
robman replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My first coaster was the Matterhorn at Disneyland when I was five. I remember riding it and being terrified, but that has changed now! -
I was looking at the Holiday Expo thing's website and I might actually go and check it out. It seems semi-interesting and its only $12 a ticket. If I do go I will be sure to look in the main lot just to be sure. I would think that the park would store ride parts in the employee lot and not the main lot.

robman replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Very exciting! I'm glad it's over Presidents Day Weekend so I have no school on Monday. If I have the money I hopefully should be able to make it down this year! -

Does "it" have to do with a certain thread where a lot of people used the word "it"? -

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
robman replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was at Halloween Haunt at California's Great America last night and some lady was upset that the talent were getting up in her face and trying to scare her. All I can say is WTF, why go there if you don't like getting scared it only says on all the signs outside the park that this is, 'An in your face Halloween Event" so why even bother. -
Post HERE if you can see the new TPR Server!

It's working fine for me! -
The waterfall on the Demon mouth has been off for a while it seems, not really sure why. Last night at Haunt the park reached capacity and stopped selling tickets. There was lines for some ride thy I had never seen so long before. Last night was just crazy with all kinds of line jumping and what not. I know there can only be so many people in one place and they all try to control the mobs of people. For example last night when I was entering Slaughterhouse there was a big group of people entering there was a guy sitting in a chair and they all freaked out ran backward crushing into me and the rest of my party. I ended up getting a decent bruise on my hand because of this guy crushing into me. Then to top off the whole thing they cut under a whole set of ropes cutting everyone. Im not sure if they got caught or not but I sure hope they did! Other then that I had a really great time to close off the season!

The park is PACKED right now. Vortex has all switchbacks filled and they only have one train. Demon's line is completely full also. About to watch Zombies Gone Viral not expecting much but I will see. I've done every maze so far except Werewolf Canyon. I got recognized a lot tonight so far, lots of talent are remembering me and asking me why I'm going so much. My response, I love Haunt!

I know one thing we will be seeing tomorrow for those of us going to Haunt, line jumping. There has been a lot of it the last couple weeks. The people working the end of the line and the employees that walk by once an awhile try to stop it but they still continue to do it. I wish they had more blackout type people in the lines to try and reduce that but whatever.

I found while I was looking at the news. ABC 7 is calling Haunt "Kid-Friendly" I wonder what they mean by kid, it could be very deceiving for some parents. Then this is where the problem starts because they bring there little kids to Haunt, if they were to read the website ans saw it was recommended for guests 13 and above, but no one ever reads it.
