  1. Great bios! Should I use everybody's avatar for their bio or do you think we should have real pictures?
  2. ^ We've got enough right now, but if someone drops dead (or out) before the game starts I'll be looking for replacements.
  3. ^ HAHA! PERFECT! This is gonna be great.
  4. Phil Lombard Framing other people won't get you out of this one, Mr. Lombard. George Armstrong We all know you killed your patient, "Dr. Armstrong". Driving drunk is one thing, but operating on a human drunk? Surely you knew that would result in some sort of consequence! And Then There Were None begins August 25th.
  5. ^ Sure, coasterdude5 A forum member of over three years, coasterdude5 has been suspicously involved with RCT3 projects that have known to give young children nightmares, without any remorse. Something like that. It can be longer or shorter. Obviously, it's not serious. I liked the death by mayo idea.
  6. ^ That's basically all it is, but it's "themed" to And Then There Were None. In the story, each person is killed off in a way that mimics a nursery rhyme, here is the original poem: Ten little Soldier boys went out to dine; One choked his little self and then there were Nine. Nine little Soldier boys sat up very late; One overslept himself and then there were Eight. Eight little Soldier boys traveling in Devon; One said he'd stay there and then there were Seven. Seven little Soldier boys chopping up sticks; One chopped himself in halves and then there were Six. Six little Soldier boys playing with a hive; A bumblebee stung one and then there were Five. Five little Soldier boys going in for law; One got into Chancery and then there were Four. Four little Soldier boys going out to sea; A red herring swallowed one and then there were Three. Three little Soldier boys walking in the zoo; A big bear hugged one and then there were Two. Two little Soldier boys were out in the sun; One got all frizzled up and then there was one. One little Soldier boy left all alone; He went out and hanged himself and then there were none. I was thinking we could do a "TPR" version with different "deaths". If someone would like to attempt it, you're more than welcome. Here's a list of people that I think are eligible for the game: 1. Wes 2. Homer 3. mcjaco 4. coasterfreak101 5. moose 6. SonOfBeastSucks 7. Carnage 8. CTU Agent 9. colincoon 10. socalMAN123 I think list is good. If one of you doesn't want to participate, I've got a few others who would be more than happy to take your place. If you want to be one, go ahead and working on your bio that includes what crime you've committed. It can be something as simple as posting a duplicate topic or a made-up murder. The choice is yours.
  7. I cleared this with Robb but he suggested I get everybody's opinions on it first. I'm making my third annual Halloween project, And Then There Were None, based off the book of the same name. Some of you might remember my 2006 project, Deep Valley Amusement Park, which I believe scarred quite a few 13-year-olds for life. If you haven't read the book, ATTWN is about ten people who all escape punishment for murders they committed. They are brought to an island by a mysterious Mr. U.N. Owen (unknown) and are then one-by-one killed off in ways that mimic a nursery rhyme, Ten Little Indians. It's a very good read (and I don't like reading). What I want to do is select ten forum members, (or you can volunteer yourself). I would try to select those of you that would be able to take a joke and not go crazy. Before the first chapter of my story is posted, I would post a poll featuring all ten people, with members voting for who they would want to "kill off" first. It's somewhat like survivor. I'm doing this at Atari and over there I'm lettting people have their own short bio with some "murder" or "forum wrongdoing" that they've either really done or have just made up. Each week I'd post a new poll and the remaining group would get smaller and smaller. Just like the story. Tell me what you think and if you'd be interested in joining. Remember, there are only ten spots available.
  8. Six Flags New Orleans has a better chance of reopening...
  9. Congrats to the winners! PEOPLE'S CHOICE FIRST PLACE: Darren Leech SECOND PLACE: Brad Papas THIRD PLACE: "Renegade" - EDITOR'S CHOICE: FIRST PLACE: Colin B. SECOND PLACE: "Renegade" THIRD PLACE: Jack Lindy
  10. Update Year 33 Aloha! One plus to having Peregrine gone is that we can get some nice lake view shots. Oronga might also be on the way out! What's up with Hershey? We've lost Tigre, Peregrine, Sulfur, and now Oronga? I hope it's not true. Hopefully Tidal Wave is staying where it is! I couldn't imagine the park without it! That's one big loop... The Volcanic is still operating at full capacity! I wonder if they will ever expand... They've got enough room, I think they could pull it off. Mt. Hershey River Rapids is still soaking riders! Get ready to get soaked! The turnstile & ticket building has undergone a slight facelift. More soon!
  11. Update Year 9 Hola amigos! Como estais? Hello friends! How are you all? This new plaza can get somewhat crowded during peak hours. Looking out onto Calle Espanol! Avispa towers over everything in this section of the park! Avispa es muy rapido! Avispa is very fast! Mas pronto! More soon!
  12. The movie might be too long or you could be using too many fancy transitions or effects.
  13. I hope they don't go with Deja Vu, Holiday World doesn't seem like the type of park that would install a ride like that...
  14. By "high thrill" he might mean "waterpark high thrill" which would be a deluge clone or a halfpipe. As for Deja Vu & SWF's old spot, I'd say the splash battle idea works.
  15. I wouldn't mind a four-day week. I know a few adults who have four-day work weeks.
  16. I can't think of any off the top of my head but if you're looking for a good haunted attraction near a themepark, Gatlinburg (town after Pigeon Forge) has Ripley's Haunted Adventure which is great. I recommend it if you're ever in that area for Dollywood.
  17. Update Year 9 Hola amigos! This new area offers some great Avispa shots. What a blue sky! Mas Avispa! Mas, pronto!
  18. It'd be awesome to ride a coaster to work every day. And it will do what I've always wanted to be able to do - hve an "enclosed car" on a coaster. Not an enclosed coaster, but the actual ride vehicle be enclosed. This should be interesting.
  19. And Then There Were None begins August 25th, 2008.
  20. My surgeon told me two weeks, but I had more than four pulled...
  21. Can't wait for August 26th! They've got me stumped...
  22. Vera Clayton Mrs. Clayton, please quit playing the "hero" card. You allowed Cyril to swim out to sea and drown. I'm sure this is all just now sinking in, but unfortunately you cannot undo the past. See you on the bus! Will Blore You are the epitome of the word "corrupt". Framing innocent men will not get you anywhere in life, you should know that by now, right? If not, you'll learn your lesson in the very near future!
  23. Update Year 9 Hola! How are you? I have some more pictures from Calle Español. Looking down the main street... We're really focusing on the green, eco-friendly aspect of the park. Mas, pronto!
  24. I'm disappointed that a waterpark is overtaking a themepark but I guess that's what's hot (or cool) right now... Hopefully it doesn't become the trend in too many more parks.
  25. Great trip report! Dollywood's a great place, I'm looking forward to going back. I liked that you took some shots of Blazing Fury. Most times that ride gets overlooked.
