That´s no guilty pleasure, that´s TOTALLY AWESOMENESS!!!! Spanish Flea is cult on Student-Night-Partys at our local University! When you are just a little offense and you hear that song, you have to dance. The same is with "Whipped Cream Whipped Cream" and "Green Peppers". Good to see someone else appreciates the "classics." My Mom used to listen to the Tiajuana Brass all the time when I was a kid--"Tiajuana Taxi" and "The Lonely Bull" tend to swim around my subconscious from time to time.

Oh okay... I get it.... this was you being funny, I'm so sorry I mistaken your dry humor as homophobia or bigotry. I guess that is okay since I mistook you as someone immature and disrespectful. That seems fair. OK, let me see if I have this straight. Ed: Doesn't care for all the pictures. NINCUB: Disagrees with Ed. Gentlemen, I suggest that you agree to disagree and move on. Thank you, Chuck -

I have to get my Cedar Fair pass, so I imagine I'll be there on opening day. -

^She did what she wasn't supposed to be doing and gave you a steaming plate of attitude in return when you called her on it. What else could she expect you to do but fire her?

Eric's 2008 Theme Park Adventures Updated 4/5

I never had the chance to see the Mickey Mouse Musical Revue when it was in Florida, but it was fun to see it in Japan (even if a lot of it was in Japanese). Great stuff, Eric. -

^Joker's Jinx is a smoother ride than Flight of Fear. When it's working, that is. -

I actually visited SFA three times in 2007--once for a TPR meet, once to meet some friends who were visiting the area, and once more with another friend on an informal "Mid-Atlantic Tour." Each visit in 2007 was a lot of fun, and I even give the park staff credit for busting it's butt to open the problem-plagued Skull Island water ride (it was fun). While the park had a few operational issues during those visits, it seemed to me that they were on the right track. That being said, my one visit in 2008 was to a rather dispiritied place--lackadaisical staff, broken-down rides, problems with the Fast Pass for Superman (as in the staff had no idea what to do with them), and even an ugly incident in the Superman queue. Much of what I heard from others that year was pretty bad. I hope that SFA turns themselves around. They have good selection of coasters and some potential. But time will tell. -
What was your favourite Super Bowl Halftime-Showact?

There have been quite a few southern Super Bowls: Tampa this year, New Orleans, Houston, Miami. -

They probably contracted to have both torn down, but could only afford one. Last time I checked, parts of Hypersuckit were stacked up on the far side of the Hurler. -

OK, there's one thing this thread is missing--messed up video of the Tubes' "She's a Beauty" using footage from two ancient TV shows. http://youtube.com/watch?v=oQmftBmUwMI&feature=related

I agree that Wes is god and Dave's musical selections rule. As for the stripper stuff, everybody needs to read this book. Hilarious and disturbing at the same time--I like that in a book. Yes, TPR's membership has it all covered.
-
You do realize that strippers are, in general, paid to say that they're into the same things as potential customers, right?

^No worries, Adam--just keepin' ya honest. I agree with you about merging the two campaigns. This seems like a good way to go.

^Someone posted about this two pages ago: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=695961#695961 . And haven't we been discussing the merging of the two campaigns already?
