  1. It'll be busier than a "normal" Sunday, but still manageable.
  2. Old animatronics rarely go completely to waste--but they could be re-purposed somehow.
  3. I have yet to see the show not work when I've ridden Verbolten.
  4. I approve of Funtown's choice of "Fire on High" for their scrambler.
  5. Any Boomerang. Good answer!
  6. Which roller coaster is the "least sincere"?
  7. I like the interaction with the steel coaster.
  8. ^Although Verbolten had issues early on, the park was quite pleased with how Zirer worked to tweak the ride and make it more reliable. I understand that the experience with Moser wasn't as pleasant.
  9. Yes, I think if you waited in the whole queue, you should have the same chance as anyone else of snagging one of the better seats. Busch Gardens Williamsburg stopped using single-rider lines years ago, but they have a similar policy for single riders (they sometimes make you stand between the two loading docks until a seat is available)--but on that ride, it makes more sense.
  10. This slide looks pretty cool--and genuinely frightening.
  11. The more I see of Shanghai Disneyland, the more I like it.
  12. 1. Carousel of Progress 2. American Adventure 3. Hall of Presidents 4. Mexico Boat Ride 5. Journey into Imagination (Yes, she's very weird) I think you're raising a historian.
  13. My sister would love this place. Our Mom used to yell at her for eating the Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough right out of the fridge; here, she can eat all she wants! I'll have the cinnamon or mint chocolate chip, please.
  14. I visited DineyQuest once. I liked the Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise attractions, but got sicker than a dog when I tried this VR comic-book thing (actually had to go outside for fresh air afterward). I remember driving a remote-controlled truck through some sort of "temple," too. Once was enough.
  15. Yes. Yes it is. Thank you. We should all look for sincerity in roller coasters.
  16. Since Phoenix is your favorite, is it also the most "sincere" of all roller coasters?
  17. ^Let's just say that unlike a fine wine, Hurler did not improve with age.
  18. Hurler was a good ride for its first season, but it beat itself to death (along with riders) as the years went by. So, I agree that the layout, when worked on by the right company, is a good one.
  19. This park is more extensive than I thought, yet we don't hear much about it on TPR. Thanks for the report and the photos.
  20. I just removed some more "political" posts about the park's decision to stop flying the Confederate flag. If you want to have a great debate, do it politely over private messages or rent a convention hall. Thank you.
  21. I don't think anyone is saying they hate Hydra. I'm certainly not. It's fine, its not a bad coaster, its just dull. And that its one of their major rides only makes that fact more glaring. Personally I hate the jo-jo roll, to me its a novelty and doesn't do anything but send all the blood to your head and your change to the ground below. The rest of the layout *looks* really cool and is very unique for a B&M. But then you ride it and its just generally forceless and mostly meandering. I agree with you about Hydra. That being said, I think Talon is a bit underrated (always enjoyed that ride).
  22. Yeah, my goof there. I was under the impression it was launched for some reason. It's fixed now.
  23. Of course--please post one. Good TRs are always appreciated. As for Steel Vengeance, oh my god!
  24. I think this is an excellent choice for Knott's--plenty of new thrills for the Boardwalk.
