^Dominator's corkscrews are usually the only "problem" area for me--the same as with Alpengeist's cobra roll. But both have been running smoothly this season.
^I can understand how it's probably a capacity nightmare, like many other flat rides. But it is something I would try at least once. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree looks like fun, too, and I enjoyed the similar Cars-themed version at the Studio park in Paris.
It's refreshing to read a good review of the Flying Tires ride, too--especially since all I've read elsewhere is that the ride is "too difficult" for people to understand.
^I'm not a fan of the Cars movies, either, although I thought the first flick was one of the best looking that Pixar had made up to that point. And I'm a sucker for the retro "Route 66" theming, too.
That Mini Mouse not only has fully licensed versions of Disney and Warner Bros. characters, it has it's own "floating" Verbolten wall.
I wonder if BGW had to buy a license from this park for it?
^^Yeah, every time I come across comments like this, I wonder if the person making them watched the same video I did. I respect Jeff's opinion because he's actually ridden it--Erik's, too.
Went over to the park for the passholder Verbolten ERT this morning. They were, at least, working on Mach Tower, but I don't know if they ever got it going. The carriage would be at the top of the tower for quite a few minutes before being lowered down, and I think a technician was up there, too.
^Thanks for the video. It definitely looks they the baby of Big Thunder and Everest, with a gene spliced in from Grizzly River Run. Looking forward to checking this ride out in September.
^Looks like it turned out well, too. The "water cannons" on the pirate ships flanking the drop are a nice touch, and the boat kicks up a good-sized wave.
