with the supports gone I have to believe this will be some sort of a reprofile job. Has this sort of a reprofile ever happened on a steel coaster before? I know Boardwalk Bullet has had a ton of work done along with other wooden coasters but i've never heard of this on a steel coaster (except maverick of course)

Unfortunately I have only been on the 4 B&Ms at Great Adventure, but it's amazing how intense Batman is and how (for lack of a better term) weak Bizarro is. It is a really fun ride, especially the fire, but the forces just don't seem to be there.

I find it funny how i got shut down when I suggested a re-profile months ago and now everyone is on board! As long as they bring back what seems like the best drop in coaster history without trims i will be very happy. Going down there sometime in the spring during college visits so this is a nice surprise.

Hhahaha alright I've been shut down pretty good the last two pages. I was just trying to stay on topic ah well it was a stupid idea. I would love to see something solid but also different like a unique layout something that crosses over itself a lot, has a great mix of twisty sections with airtime hills and jut makes you say wow when you look at it. Having a mess of track comparable to a Frank Gehry designed building would offer that "wow" factor.

Sorry for the confusion I meant that many theme parks are known to close similar rides, potentially for good, when an accident happens on the other. Also if that ride were to light on fire while i was operating i don't know how you would get out with the room and benches moving around like they do. I just hope Six Flags doesn't panic.

I swear if some punk thought it would be funny to light a spider web on fire and it causes the Houdini's to close for good i will be so pissed. This is one of my favorite rides at great adventure it is so cool.

Seriously if ghost town in the sky had just invested in this instead of fixing up a mediocre coaster at best, they would still be around IMO

Can't believe that six flags new england would build the dark night like three years after the first two failed miserably. you would think they would've learned from their mistakes. jeez the only truley good addition so far is the euro fighter in georgia. Even Chang at Great Adventure could've been much better
