Whether this week is supposed to suck in the area.. I don't see why this has taken them so long to start. I figured they would be 90% done by now seeing that they started deconstruction in July and had the whole ride down by August. There was a really long pause there where nothing happened, WHY? (Sorry bad mood, Jets just lost -__-)

It stinks that they started this big R.I.T. thing and never went ANYWHERE with it. The page is still EXACTLY the same as it was in October!

According to Six Flags Great Adventure's Facebook (about 2 or three things down) they have a nice surprise coming this week. What do you think it is?

I know the Cyclone is a classic and many say it should not be touched, but I would love to see Zamperla bring GCI on board to re-track this coaster and give it a set of millenium flyers. The trains are retro themed and hey a kid can dream can't he?

At :37 seconds in the thing looks like it goes into warpspeed holy crap!

I'm still wondering why they have only been testing the one side and why this conversion is taking 6 months or so. Hopefully it means they put a ton of time into revamping the system to give a better ride!

I don't even think they are striving for opening day. El Toro Kingda Ka and I think Dark Knight all opened during memorial weekend. So I figure they will be opening it the same time they have their recent additions

I really like the designed front ends of the new trains. I've always wanted to go to BGT and now I'm even more drawn to it. Man I need to start going to parks outside of the NY area!!!

As high as it is getting on the tower, it still looks very slow to me.. How fast is it going do you guys think?

I'm thinking/hoping that all the cheap feel right now is a quick fix before they make the final, higher quality signs, food options etc. I have always wondered how much these parks read and take into account what the public is saying. It seemed like Shapiro did a lot of that, but I am worried about the new guys. Hopefully they will continue to make Six Flags Parks higher quality feeling and maybe even add some sensible theming

Some of the pictures make them look white other make them look coated in snow. All of the pieces are being repainted and if the paint was fresh the snow would stick to it as we have not seen these pieces before. And besides it could just be a primer that they will paint later. I wont believe it until trains start running.

maybe its a record breaking coaster. If thats the case maybe either most inversions or steepest drop. I would like to see someone properly break intamin's long standing record. Competition is good.
