Can't believe I'll be flying out tomorrow morning at 7am, summer went by way too quick this year. I arrive in LA at 11am and will probably check out Santa Monica pier just to see the Pacific. Looking forward to WCB and meeting everyone -

Thanks for organizing this event. Looking forward to meeting everyone next weekend -
I played FFXIV until the servers went down, then played a bit of the betas. Figured I'd use the time to beat my back log of games. Right now I have no desire to play any mmo's, but you know how that works out. Will give me something to do in the winter

I'm going to WCB by myself as well. Looks like a lot of people will be going alone based on the main WCB forum. We shouldn't have any issues of finding someone to ride/hang out with

Over the weekend I beat Darksiders and Virtues Last Reward. Virtues had a great story but gameplay wasn't the most entertaining. It was basically an interactive story since it took about 44 hours to beat, with only 8-10 hours of actual game play. After escaping the final puzzle, the conclusion took around 3 hours. Darksiders was a fun game, even though the game play reminded me of God of War. Story was on the weak side, but overall an enjoyable game.

^ Enjoy the speculations before this thread turns into a lot of complaining after 10pm est. -
I've been playing Darksiders and Virtue's Last Reward. I'm glad they were free on PS+ or I would have missed out on two great games.

Fright Nights is very well done since they transform the whole park. If the weather is nice expect the park to be very crowded Friday and Saturday. A few years ago Friday nights were the best time to go since it was never crowded, but that has changed. You should be able to ride everything you want if you skip the haunted houses. Sept 27th is the first day Fright Nights start, so I'd imagine it shouldn't be too crowded that first weekend. -

^^ Didn't realize both cars went backwards, only thought one did. I guess one side of Superman then -

I was planning on doing both sides of Superman, Green Latern, and Riddler's Revenge after ERT. Hoping the opening crowds run to Tatsu and X2 first -

I only rode Skyrush twice last year. First time was in the very back and my friend and I had no issues with the restraints tightening. Second time we ended up in the middle and it tightened hard at the bottom of the first drop for both of us. I had my hands up, so I didn't pull it down at the bottom. I didn't mind the discomfort, but my friend said he'd never ride it again. I hope to make it to Hershey again soon, just so I can ride Storm Runner and Skyrush -

It's not the airtime that makes the ride uncomfortable, it's how tight the lap bar can get on your thighs. Because your feet dangle and your legs make direct contact to the seat, it can really pin you in since your muscles are relaxed. If you had leverage from a non-floorless car, which would bring the back of your legs slightly off the seat, I don't think there would be many issues. -

Makes you wonder if the wheels didn't line up correctly with the track to cause the roll back. -

^^^ One of the reasons I haven't rode this ride yet. If the boat flips, I don't want to be trapped. -

Since it's looking like a B&M, I'm hoping for a floorless or invert. -

Dorney Saturday and first trip to Knoebels Sunday. Be tempting to ride Skyrush and Storm Runner when I'm at Troegs Brewery. -
I think KI Pride Night is the same weekend as WCB this year. Really wanted to check out both this year, but I'll wait and go to KI next year for the new coaster Anyone going to WCB?
