  1. I was checking flights from Pittsburgh, 9/6-9/10 and Delta is only 250 roundtrip. Might have to book this trip today
  2. I finished Last of Us last night. Was a great game, now deciding if I want to try and collect all the trophies.
  3. ^ The generator part of the hotel I took a different approach after dying several times and made it fairly easy. I was so excited to see the Pittsburgh part of the game, but I couldn't wait to leave.
  4. Last of Us is a great game so far. Very challenging and enjoying the story and how the characters are building. My roommate and my brother hate the game because of how challenging it is. You can't run and gun your way through this game. I'm playing on hard and have easily died 50+ times.
  5. The used game policy doesn't bother me since I prefer to buy new so the money goes to developers. Its the 24 hour check in that I don't like. If xbox live servers go down for more then 24 hours, then you can't even play any of your single player games that you have purchased. This puts a big target on microsoft live servers for hackers. The DRM issues with Diabolo 3 and Sim City when the games were released caused a lot of frustrated users since they couldn't even play their game after it was released. I'll have both new systems in my living room since my roommate has the xbox one preordered, so it will be fun to try both systems.
  6. ^ I bought Last of Us during lunch and can't wait to go home and play.
  7. I'm really looking forward to Killzone, The Division, and even Destiny looks preatty neat.
  8. I finished Doom3 over the weekend, and it was a decent game. Fairly long game for a FPS, took about 9 and 1/2 hours. Have no desire to play through a 2nd time since it was way to repetitive. Currently playing Vanquish since it was free a few weeks ago on ps+, and I have no idea how I missed this game when it was released. Very fun 3rd person scifi shooter.
  9. New Texas Giant and Iron Rattler will be extra perks moving down to Texas You are only crazy for waiting 2 years to finally meet. I wish you two the best of luck.
  10. I never played BF3 and last COD I played was MW2. I'd rather play the single player campaign or online co-op through the campaign. I get bored with FPS's online quickly. Probably doesn't help I used to play Quake 2 and 3, Unreal Tournament, and Counter Strike all the time online.
  11. I finished Bioshock 2, was a fun game, but story was boring and kept waiting for it to get better. Started up Doom 3 and really enjoying the game. I miss having the arrow in Bioshock telling me where to go. Forgot how games back then didn't hold your hand from beginning to end. The game is still creepy and made me jump a few times. I miss the old Resident Evil days where I would be to scared to advance, so I'd just shut the system off.
  12. The early entry into the park varies. Mainly if the coaster breaks down or isn't open yet. Last Saturday I parked at Soak City then walked onto Maverick, Millennium Force was about a 15-20 min wait, and waited about 5 minutes for Raptor. I'm just happy Gatekeeper is making Maverick line short during morning ERT.
  13. I'm predicting an ampersand turn around since Diamondback already has the hammer head.
  14. Looks like the nets are to catch any objects from Lightning Racers.
  15. Windseeker scares me with the strong winds and the rocking. Don't think I could handle the chair twisting that high up.
  16. I rode Gatekeeper 5 times and found it fun and enjoyable. I wouldn't travel several hours to a park just for a wing rider.
  17. Xbox One looks decent, but they did focus way to much on the TV aspects. I'm not interested in Kinect since my living room is to small to work properly. I just wanted to see new games that are only exclusive to Xbox, Call of Duty will be out for all systems, and I'm not into sport games. Atleast with PS4, Killzone and inFamous got me excited for those games. Overall, I'm not impressed with any of the next gen. I'm mostly leaning towards PS4 since I'm a fan of their exclusives.
  18. Started Bioshock 2 last night and got about 2 hours into the game. So far I'm enjoying the game play more then the first and prefer the hacking system. Connecting pipes in the first one was a huge annoyance of mine and rarely hacked things. Story seems decent for what it is so far. What does everyone think of Xbox One?
  19. Memorial day weekend is usually pretty crowded, so I'd recommend fast lane for one of the days. Military get into the park for free this Saturday-Monday. So fast lane might sell out. When the park first opens, the fast lane for Gatekeeper will be massive since everyone thinks that is the start of the line.
  20. ^ Both were down Friday-Sunday as well.
  21. I took about a month off from gaming to catch up on a few books. Finally got into the first Bioshock, the game was dragging and the fighting wasn't fun at first. Even though it seems like I'm always out of eve and ammo I'm still chugging along. I'm also working on Unit 13 and Little Big Planet Vita platinums. After Bioshock I might play Doom 3 BFG edition before playing Bioshock 2.
  22. Looked a bit rough through some of those inversions. Still looks like a fun ride.
  23. Awesome video as always. I can't wait to ride it next Friday.
  24. ^ I would spend your first day at the park with fast lane. Second day I would do morning ERT, if that's an option, then hit up Soak City as soon as it opens. Just don't forget sun tan lotion, nothing worse then riding coasters with burnt shoulders and back. You can do Challenge Park any day since I never see that place crowded.
  25. Last week of August, Kennywood is closed during the week. And it can get very crowded for the Fall Fantasy Parade which is just about every day in August. They haven't released the 2013 Fall Fantasy Parade schedule yet.
