Iron Horse wish list

I think the issue with Ghostrider is the bank turns are not done well. Even just reprofiling the turns would help out I think. -
Skovparken [RCT3]

I enjoy this park already! It has a nice atmosphere to it, and the buildings match the folige as well. It just all blends nicley, and that coaster looks like fun as well. Splendid Job! -

I hate that bench for that reason! I'm sure you can make something vibrant overall. -
I think it is just a way to basically "turn off the light" for awhile, considering Superman is one of the most expensive rides to run as it is. Everytime I have gone to Magic Mountian, the lines for it are not substantial to call it an "E" ticket attraction. But then agian, the park only runs one side every 6 months really, so I can be wrong as well. I doubt it will be torn out though for a bigger coaster. That just seems wasteful, financially speaking of course.

With all the negative remarks from SoB, I would like to see that. It could be a better investment for the park I think. -

Great on the supports! To fill that in I have some Ideas: 1. An interactive walk way so the peeps can watch the ride. 2. Some kind of pond with maybe a water fixture. 3. Prehaps add more terrian. Personally, I would go with the walk way. Think of this project like the coaster designs on NE, They just do not build a coaster, but they build an enviroment around the coaster. Still looking good though, Stoksy, and I wish you luck on this school project! -
^ That's pushing it though. This is looking like Six flags all over agian in the early 00's. Let's just plonk down rides where there is room. I like seeing a coaster being moved to a park that woill be very pleased with it, but I think it could have gone else where as well. Granted, this park is one of the main Parks in the chain, but I just think if it were to be placed like that, it will look sloppy. I rather see flats then a coaster really..

^ stealth wasn't the best ride, well now I can see this. But as a 12 year old at the time, that ride was so fun! I know how you feel. I live down in co cal and since I first heard of this staduim dispute, I knew it would be somewhat neglected. I do hope that Cedar Fair can show some love to this park, even if it is a small addition as well. Anything new generally brings in curious guest.

Construction Update #2 The name has now been annouced for the coaster as it has now gone vertical. Flash: the ride. ( ) will take people on a 90 mph jouney thorugh over 7,000 feet of track! Almost 800 feet longer than Viper. It also is the tallest sturcture in the park as it stands 230 feet in the air. But the drop is much larger is it takes riders thourgh an underground tunnel. One of few as well. The first turn of the ride. SCR24.BMP The turnaround. SCR23.BMP SCR25.BMP As you can see, the drive up to the parking lot has been rerouted to make room for this coaster. Also, there is now room to either expand on thomas town, or put in a much need Looney Toons area in the back to acomadate more for the children. The park is due to open in a few more months, so I'll be eager to see what is next for this park.

Makes you wonder if Marriott will buy this park now. The overall layout is splendid, but that swoosh under the station is nice as well. This is turning out to be a nice park. -
Oak Island Park (RCT3)

Splendid! And for the limitations of Batman clone. I only pointed out the colors because the color of coasters in RCT3 are not as vibrant as in RCT and RCT2. But it does fit the name nicley. -
^ Amen, so can we stop talking about how some parks are getting "spoiled?" It's all about what park can afford. the park piror to Sixflags owning it could not attract guest, so what would make it worth visting now? The fact that adding coasters like SFA did in the late 90's and early 00's couldn't even attract as many people then, will anything do that? Face it, the park I'm sure is barley braking even, so the park needs resturcture as a whole before they can recieve more capital spending.

Windjammer was bad as well now that I remember, and not to mention Manhattan Express. TOGO, Arrow, and Vekoma; I don't care how bad they may ride nowadays, but I enjoy most coasters.

Having the track painted multiple colors like that just, in my mind, don't blend well. Maybe using one of those color schemes will do. On a side note, nice Batman clone. -

It's nice looking! Great job! -
Besides the fastpasses, I find closing all of Paradise Pier to be uneeded. I understand Califronia Screamin', but Toystory Mania? That line has an hour wait practically all day, so just cutting off the line early as it is I think insulting. The fact it cost as much to go to DCA as DL STILL is bad marketing. DCA got bad word of mouth for that main reason, and I'm sure all these compliants and unneeded lines are adding to the bad word of mouth that has been present from the beginning. Granted, I know DCA is getting the love it needs, however; Restricting what you can do even more at the park now is not going to help it's cracked Image as it is.

Roller Coaster Etiquette

Well there's your probelm right there. That is the typical reason. If the ride operators took intiative to fill up a train, then this flux would not happen. Let's be like Disney and make an assembly line out of it! -

Maybe look at these supports: http://www.rcdb.com/502.htm?p=0 Good start as well, stosky.
