Miccosukee Park [RCT3]
808Freq replied to 808Freq's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
From naplesnews.com's Online Entertainment Blog -- "Jimmy's Corner" Miccosukee Park Update Construction is moving right along, and Miccosukee's PR people dropped me this little glossy photo when I stopped by the site today. While it was long rumored, it has now been confirmed. Intamin is building Tomahawk, which will have the fastest 'standard' lift hill in the U.S. Below are some construction photos of Tomahawk and some previews of the park. The entrance of the park. This area is still under construction. One of the larger buildings completed so far. Spent a few hours on the job site. The guys hard at work building Tomahawk let me get some great pictures! A piece of track is positioned into place. The wind wasn't making it any easier on the workers. A few hours later, onto the next piece! That's all for now. Check back next week for more updates! -

Can I have a Penis for each nut? I'd imagine that's like DP for women. But what do I know.. -
I agree with Robb, at least on the overall layout of the track (at least what we can see from 8 seconds). Most of the clip that we've seen has you in a trench, and obviously Baco spends a good amount of time in the trench as well, so the connections to Baco seem very prevalent right now. As more clips come out, we may see a separation of design that makes it seem more like Mav. I cringed when Robb directly compared it to Baco because that coaster just seems boring and uninspired.. The layout for the BGT-2011 coaster seems a little more exciting from what we've been told so far. And it won't have crappy wing-rider trains (worst 'gimmick' since the standup coaster). It will be two hours away from me!!! YAY FOR ME!!!!

From naplesnews.com's Online Entertainment Blog -- "Jimmy's Corner" Miccosukee Park Update Some photos I've taken in the past week of construction week 1. Wood arriving on the scene. Construction crews arrived by the dozen on day one. More buildings going up. I wonder what these will become one day. Station house and coaster begin construction at the same time. Seminole will be a house built wooden coaster that "Blends exciting twists with classic wooden airtime." Supports arrive for the steel coaster. No word on the name for this coaster, as it's a late addition to the park's plans. In fact, it is nowhere on the parks formal plans, and to date is shrouded in mystery. When asked who is supplying the coaster, the park had no comment. More to come as it happens. -

Slowest Loading Coaster - Georgia Scorcher!!! -
JACCORRYYYYYY WHYYYYYYYYY I'm excited about the defense, though. A lot of good to pull away from that, especially if you look at it through a 'the quarter back was playing for the other team' lens. In other news, the Bucs won. Even though it's Cleveland it's nice to get the first win in week 1. And McCoy and Mr Price beasted on Clevelands O line *Edit -- Not to defend his terrible performance that led to a loss, but some of the INT's weren't completely his fault. He was missing all day, but the play where Benj posted to block the defender.. not his fault. But like I said before, no excuse. There is just no way your team has a chance to win when you turn the ball over like that.

The Golden Ticket Awards

This argument is pretty silly if you say it out loud a couple of times. Why WOULDNT they win year after year? If something is good enough to win say.. best wooden coaster of the year, it seems to me that unless the coaster is destroyed, changes dramatically, or something else better comes along, it's going to win that award multiple times (possibly in a row). The same mindset applies with the more general park awards. Take the landscaping award. Unless BGE went to hell, another park opened or majorly stepped up it's game, BGE is likely to win that award in successive years. Of course with all things in 'power ranking' you'll see some flip flopping, but it will generally remain the same week to week, or in this case, year to year. -

Has anyone ever been on the Ectasy ? It's a Carnival ship. I was on a Royal Caribbean ship directly behind it following it out of port when this happened.. pretty freaky.. http://www.nytimes.com/1998/07/21/us/cruise-ship-catches-fire-60-people-are-hurt.html It pretty much comes down to... If with family - Disney If with Date/Wife - Royal Caribbean/Princess/other expensive option If trying to tag random ass - Carnival

From naplesnews.com's Online Entertainment Blog -- "Jimmy's Corner" First things first, a picture that I took just after the zoo closed. The first bulldozer at work at demolition. I post it now, because I was going to post it earlier (forgot I had taken it), plus it gives perspective (more on that in a moment). The very first dig into the ground. Beginning of the end for the zoo. Though there has been no official word on what the land for the zoo will be used for, there is activity on the site. Supplies being stockpiled. Vehicles are large piles of wood. More updates soon. I leave you with that 'perspective' shot. The same before, just fast forward a bit. Seems like they are building onto the old zoo ticket-house. No more Tilt a whirl. Construction crew parking lot added. Scaffolding galore. -
Yeah, pass interference my ass. The Canes are gonna make OSU look like the cornfed punks they are. THEN they are gonna roll on Pitt and Clemson .. but don't worry, it will be in their houses too, so OSU won't have to deal with being the only team that got humiliated at home by Miami. Sleep well.
