I'm utterly speechless. Jesus. I mean.. for awhile I supported these people. I even got a post deleted (not sure why still, but it's cool) for kind of standing up for them.. BUT COME ON!!!! *facepalms* -

How could they not? Surely they are following this thread. -

Interesting. Hopefully it was just a 'generic' jab. If he really took a shot at your family, you might need to send the TPR mafia to go take care of him(or just do it yourself). Not cool. -

15 pages of TPR mocking... That will teach them to never buy an old rollercoaster again! oh wait, they don't even pay attention to this site, nevermind. -
BUSCH GARDENS MIDWEST
808Freq replied to hulahoop1's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
This thread is a gem. In reality what you should do is just go to Atari forums. This forum is practically dead when it comes to RCT3 anyway. It's a little messier than this forum (nice and neat here, which is why they ask you to properly spell, format your posts, etc), but there is much more going on over there and you'll very likely get more help (as well as patience). -

There is about 1,000,000 things I would rather do than buy a crappy old wooden roller coaster without a plan to return it to operation. They have a plan. Just like John Kerry had plans. Trust them, they have them. -
I guess this is what happens when you have about a year to think about what you want a particular coaster to be. No way it's going to be what everyone wanted. Looking at it from afar, if you had to guess what kind of coaster would be the 'next' type of coaster it'd be fair to say a Family Style would be the type they'd install. People are also still underestimating the airtime this thing is gonna give. The hill off the rhino launch is gonna rock.

Miccosukee Park [RCT3]
808Freq replied to 808Freq's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
From naplesnews.com's Online Entertainment Blog -- "Jimmy's Corner" Miccosukee Park Update While I can't get any of the crew to give exact details, I'm told the park is about three quarters complete. I'm getting a walk through hard hat tour next week. This week they wouldn't allow pictures from inside the park(as with most projects this large, the construction scene is getting hectic, and they don't want non workers on the site at this time). Here's one from just outside the gate. View from the parking lot (also currently under construction just behind me out of the picture). Also, this picture was mailed to me. Some guy who took it from his private prop plane four days ago. I must say it looks much different now that it's finished (Also, how low was this guy flying? Looks like he's lower than Tomahawk's peak.. which is under 100 ft !!).. One of the two coasters the park will open with. Next time I'll have much more to show you. Till then... -
Honestly, I think if CD5 were to see someone very closely copying his structures, he'd just smile. They can try to copy his buildings, but their overall work wont come close. He knows that. TONS of hours of work go into his park, and it's not just to do with his buildings alone. The overall park planning that goes into it, and the finishing work down to the smallest little details are what separate his work from most. People are going to 'very closely' copy structures.. especially ones that are in pre built packs that you can download like the main street packs..

America's Wonderland [RCT3]

Looks great man. The Main street theme seems kind of out of place, but that's probably because the area is still small.. -

About the same price as Busch Gardens right? That's not bad at all. I was expecting much higher ticket prices. -

Stupid local regulations. I wonder how much money the amusement park industry wastes each year just in trying to get approval to build rides. "Hi, yes, we'd like to compete.. Huh? you need a permit for that?"
