I am a Six Flags pass holder for the first time this year and I am making my first trip to the park this year. I can't wait to compare the WindSeekers to the SkyScreamer. Those chains certainly make SkyScreamer look like it will test your wits just a little bit more.

Just posted reviews for King's Island, Cedar Point, Holiday World, Indiana Beach, and Michigan's Adventure. I think this is a great idea and I can't wait to watch this evolve.

In an era with kids seem to have shorter and shorter attention spans the "for this season anyway" part of your post may be key. I like what the park is trying to do with this attraction, I think its a great family/school group addition, but I think if the up charge stays past this year its popularity may wane rapidly, barring any additions to the area. I'm interested to see just how well this does.

^Whatever new attraction they are teasing is opening this season. There was some speculation that it may be a project for 2012.

I think the excavation and tree removal behind Racer point to something not dealing with Action Theater. Guess we will find out Friday!

I would be 100% ok with that! I loved those things when I was little.

I can't imagine CF's current management ok-ing any sort of large attraction involving live animals.

^Welcome! Those prices were for season passes. To my knowledge the price for a single day/ride (however they end up doing it) has not been announced yet.

I have no idea what I would name it but the coasters would be: 1. Diamondback (KI) 2. Maverick (CP) 3. Voyage (HW) 4. Shivering Timbers (MA) 5. Incredible Hulk (IOA)

I did not see this myself but apparently the lead banner on KI's website briefly read "Something big is coming. You're history. 3-18-11." According to a thread over at KICentral the words were overlayed over something that looked like a dinosaur. It has since returned back to the normal Windseeker/Math & Science days rotation. Guess the good news is 9 days isn't too long to wait and see what, if anything, this all about.

Any day from the 22-25 or the 29-Sept 1. Schools will be back in session and that will help keep the crowds lighter on the weekdays.

Quick question about "Math and Science Week" at CP. I know for math and science days at KI the crowds usually aren't too bad, is that the case at CP or are these days the park should be avoided?

I really doubt it means anything either. I don't believe anything will be done with SoB until after this year, at which point I believe it will come down.

King's Island posted a picture teasing their 2011 park map. The map is folded over to cover action zone/SOB. There is some speculation (its hard for me to tell personally) that Action Theater is not shown behind the new Windseeker on the map. The picture can be viewed here.

GL's last season ran from memorial day to labor day. I'm not sure if they ever had haunt or not though. GL was doomed as a full scale amusment park the moment CF bought it. It was simply to close to Cedar Point. In my opinion CGA's problems have a ton to do with the neighbors and the fact that the park sits on leased land.
