  1. How busy was the rest of the day? How long did you wait to get your season pass processed? (When I stepped foot into the portable where they do processing I felt like I was at DMV ) I checked the Ride Hopper app (Nice to see that some people are using it) and saw that Kong had 105 minute wait, Roar being 30, Superman being 15, and Medusa at 50. I wonder how accurate those times were since they weren't the default estimated times the app gives. It was about a 25 minute wait to get in to the portable, and about anther 5 minutes inside. As for the lines, I didn't really go on much or stay to long because I was really only there for the early rides and to get my season pass, but I want to say that lines the app listed for Medusa, Roar, and Kong where accurate, since that where all apart of the whole "Double ride" thing and Kong and Roar where only running one train. But Superman is hard to tell because seemed like it was down a lot today. But I want to say at the peak it was probably a 30+ wait.
  2. Nice TR, I was at the park today and I have to say, those morning rides on Superman and V2 were well worth getting up early for! Also, was I the only one who was shocked to see a gate at V2's exit instead of a chain?
  3. ^I've found Sundays to be the quietest of those days at any park.
  4. Wow, Superman's entrance is going to look awesome when a FT train is rushing by!
  5. Those were both great photo updates! I really can't believe how much love this park is getting, it looks so, so... GOOD! I can't wait for the 2013 season!
  6. ^ That sounds like something that SF would do, and it would be great way to reuse the stadium, instead of just letting it sit there forever.
  7. But this being Magic Mountain, there's a good chance that a dark will never happen, but it would be really cool!
  8. Gold Strikers drop reminds me a lot of the one on German El Toro
  9. I'm really happy that Cedar Fair is finally giving this park some love! I really do hope there will be a new movie in the Action Theater, but is it pretty much confirmed to be a rafting movie? It seems like there would be a lot more movie options out there.
  10. Pretty much any roller coaster called "Coaster" or "Roller Coaster".
  11. ^^ Last time I checked, KK's shuttle loop was in such bad shape that they are just planning on scraping it if the park ever opens again, but I could be wrong. Although it would be great to have some more Schwarzkopf back in Norcal.
  12. ^ I agree. With the combined land of Vortex and Invertigo, they could add something really great!
  13. ^ I agree. I haven't tried the crepes, but most of the time seems like your paying $10 for a meal that's fast food quality or even less.
  14. It's starting to look like Anaconda is taking Grizzly's place as the legendary "Worst wooden coaster in the world".
  15. The attitude and efficiency of the employees seems to be different depending on which ride or which part of the park your at. I went a few times this year and every time I went, the ride crews at Goliath and Apocalypse were great, but the ones at Scream and Tatsu seemed to be lacking. Every ride crew seemed to have their own pace through out the whole year, and the same thing could be said about the food staff as well.
  16. I've been playing a lot of older/reteo games lately, mainly on SEGA Dreamcast. I just beat Shenmue, what a game that is! Imagine a an open world sand box game, mix in with a fighting game, mixed with a driving game, with a bunch of quick-time sequences, mix with a forklift simulator (yes, I did say forklift simulator), AND terrible voice acting. All of that as well as a great story makes this one heck of a game!! Its a game that you really need to try if you haven't!
  17. ^Thats because its not Magic Mountain. But I do agree with you about the friendly staff and cleanliness, it really does add to the park to make its just a little less Six Flagsish.
  18. ^As far as I know, that park was going to be a part of a giant group of theme parks containing properties owned by different companies. But the whole "Lets go build in Dubai!!!" thing seems to be over, so that's probably never going to happen. But as far as this goes, it sounds kind of cool. All though, isn't Six Flags still trying to get out of bankruptcy?
  19. I'm with you 100% on that! They could both be great rides if SFMM would give them a little tlc.
  20. This seems like it would work better as a stand alone attraction rather then a whole area, but even that doesn't seem to likely.
  21. Wow, Drayton Manor seems like a really nice park. I feel kind of bad for the fact that I never really paid any attention to it, but now I really want to check it out!
  22. This sounds like it could be a speed slide, (unless they already have one?) or an aqua loop. I'm excited to see what they have in store.
  23. I think being able to do what you want, how you want is what would really sell me the game.
