At about 1:54 in that second video it looks like the riders get some fantastic airtime. This really does seem like more of an old-school Kumba-style B&M... lets hope for some rider reports soon!

Two of them: -Riding my 400th coaster (Prowler at WOF) -Riding T-Express at Everland. It became my third favorite coaster. Fantastic first two drops!

Had a beer tasting with a bunch of Midwest beers: All fantastic, but the New Glarus Cranbic and the Lucky Bucket Certified Evil were standouts.

^One reason might be because there was already a State Fair, which was in nearby Macon. Word is that Sam Nunn, a former GA senator who happens to own a lot of land in Perry, was a big influence in getting a "second" state fair in Perry. Now this one has basically put the state fair in Macon out of business.

Thanks for all of your updates from China! It's really interesting to see these parks that are so little-known to Western coaster enthusiasts.

Kombo at Indy zoo?

Games I'm most looking forward to today: Florida-LSU, Oklahoma-Texas, and Auburn-Arkansas are the three obvious big games. I think Missouri-Kansas State will be interesting... a test if KSU really deserves to be ranked before they head into their super-tough late season games. Iowa-Penn State should be good. I think both teams are evenly matched. We'll see how Iowa's offense does against PSU's defense.

Anyone have an explanation about why that shot of Falcon doesn't seem to have any trees? Was the ride erected at the factory? Or is it just a bizarre angle that somehow cuts out the trees?

Sweet Potato Mead? Sounds interesting, how was it (besides very awesome)? I love it when home brewers get inventive. I know someone that made a cherry RIS by taking a blowtorch to some cherries before adding them in.
