  1. Pipe Scream is moving along. CP Rundown
  2. LL:DOD doesn't use wheels. It's a rail system on which the car "glides." I'm trying to find an up close picture of it. The restraints on LL:DOD I find to be very comfortable. Which means it won't happen because dreams go to die at SFMM. True story.
  3. ^All Schlitterbahns or 1 in particular?
  4. Jealous! They must be still deciding on the proper combination of nylon/polyurethane wheels to use thus why there's only wheel covers on the 1st 2 cars. Greg Scheid Twitter
  5. Their front gate was in dire need of a renovation and this looks fantastic. Can't wait until my weekend trip to SD in May.
  6. ^^Very interesting. Being able to direct the guests to what you want them to look at is great.
  7. CP BLog posted some pictures of their latest snow storm. By far the best in my opinion.
  8. ^I agree and hope we are both correct however, that hasn't stopped other parks from removing their Arrow loopers.
  9. I learned that lesson the hard way but this is great advice for anyone riding for the 1st time.
  10. If it's anything like Steel Eel or Steel Force, all will be well.
  11. ^Yes. Viper and Corkscrew @ CP use the same train/restraint design. Only difference being Corkscrew has 6-car trains whereas Viper has 7.
  12. Thanks for the updates. This looks like a an Arrow creation with those transitions.....
  13. I love Maverick's restraints. When I first rode in Summer of '07 I got popped in the jaw on the 2nd turn but my lesson was learned after that.
  14. ^Agreed. Canyon Blaster and Viper are 2 of the smoothest Arrows I've been on. Roughest Arrows in my opinion would be Anaconda @ KD and Vortex @KI.
  15. That was short lived. Sad.
  16. Viper is on borrowed time for sure. How much time? Only the park knows. They have a decent amount of parts for the trains so once that supply dries up and maintaining it becomes expensive, then it will be removed. This is exactly why I ride 2 or 3 times every time I visit as Viper is a pinnacle of engineering for its time.
  17. ^Thanks for sharing. I particularly like this photo.
  18. RCT2 is still the best release thus far. A lot of people liked 3 for some unknown reason but I thought it was horribly executed.
  19. I've completely lost track of the layout of this beast. More and more track is rising. Looks amazing!
  20. Wow. Just horrid. This 'announcement' would have made a good April fools joke.
  21. I'm remember them saying they were going to do it last year, but every time I went to the park it was spinning forwards Ah, OK. Pretty cool experience nonetheless.
