When you're using a cutting torch on a wood structure it does..... And the park is closed until Saturday.

Looks to be part of the lift structure that fell which in turn damaged the structure below. In any case, I'm sure RMC is already working on a "Plan B."

Those were most likely added cause the train was getting stopped there and they had no way to advance it.

^Agreed. Yea sure RMC will ship 4 trains and the park will operate all 4 trains for opening summer. (I'm being optimistic, I know) Then the 4th train will quickly become a parts donor and then there will always be a train in rehab so that takes it down to 2 trains around September 2015...... I sure hope I am wrong, though.

Park is closed during the week so updates will be sporadic at best.....

Steel Force still provides some very nice airtime in my opinion. Talon and Steel Force are the best coasters in that park.

Sadly, Demon Drop is the only 1st generation left in the US, you're correct. There are 4 others still in operation according to Wikipedia: Torre do Terror @ Beto Carrero World, 2 in Japan, and Holloywood Action Tower @ Movie Studios Park, Italy.

I was legitimately excited when I heard that Demon Drop was coming to Knott's.........then my heart was broken.

B&M hasn't had Stengel's engineering firm do any designing for them for quite a while, sadly.
