  1. [youtube2] [/youtube2]MouseSteps FastPass+ test I've heard about this system being in development for some time now and I'm beyond excited about where this can lead. Like you said Robb, this opens doors to being able to completely tailor your park (Or entire vacation for that matter) experience via an RFID card.
  2. We are forgetting the most important issue here...........The amount of trash that will collect inside said buses. I also cringe to think about the odor that will be present after only a few weeks of operation.
  3. ^Exactly. It'll pay for itself after a couple seasons and then if it's popularity wears off then they can remove it fairly easily and then sell it to recoup removal costs.
  4. Slingshot is just a quick way for them to make a buck. Lord knows they need all the cash they can get. I think the prices are a little steep but if guests are riding then no need to lower the price.
  5. Yes, Disney has groupers at most attractions that will assign seats but if the guest requests a particular row/seat we have to grant their request. I actually think assigned seating is a great idea. Deja @ SFMM had assigned seating which I believed worked great. Assigned seating helps at X2 as well. NTAG's new loading procedure seems like it will work well with all 3 trains and I'm all for SF parks trying to improve efficiency.
  6. It'll probably have the same fate as Thrill Shot: Operate for 1 season (IF that)and then sit and rot....
  7. Disney didn't just decide last month that they wanted this refurb for Thunder. This has most likely been in the works since the beginning of this year (Or longer). Planning to get materials needed and labor needed were scheduled a long time ago so that everything can take place at a rapid pace once the refurbishment does start. As Chris said, Disney will hire however many people they need to get the work done in the time allotted.
  8. So was Lex Luthor. And they already had the tower built for it! All they had to do was slap a couple of winches, track, motor, and cables on it and poof! Instant drop tower! They couldn't even open that on time. Well played sir......well played.
  9. ^My bad. But to be fair, they haven't even started pouring footers yet.
  10. ^Yes. Yes, exactly like that....
  11. Premier Rides First pieces of FT getting shipped out so they can sit in the overflow lot for 5 months.......
  12. ^^Your tips will help someone avoid a "disaster."
  13. Looks like Outlaw Run gives me an excuse to visit my family in Missouri..... Thanks for the update Chad.
  14. Is that the last Topple Tower left standing?
  15. I think posting attraction down times on Facebook is a courtesy that BGW does NOT have to do but they do it as a courtesy to their guests to try and avoid the b*tching and complaining as much as possible. DCA is great at posting when RSR is down. I'd like to see a SF park post down times as a courtesy......... I love when my local parks are busy. If they weren't busy then I would be worried. ^^As a manager in my profession, a complaint that has no punctuation, use of improper grammar and/or profanity does not get taken seriously. The complaints that I read on Theme Park FB pages (Or any company's FB page for that matter) make me cringe and wonder how much more money we can afford to take away from education.......
  16. Out of all of the CH pics I've seen, this is one of my favorites.
  17. Gatekeeper will be testing by the time Full-Throttle's circuit is complete.
