I wouldn't put too much into that until the results of the investigation become public. I would think if this were the case the slide wouldn't have remained in operation. That's always one of the first things to come out from first hand reports with theme park accidents and it's rarely ever accurate. Could it be this time? Maybe, and we'll find out. But I'm skeptical on that one. I don't put much stock in any eyewitness account, especially ones on social media. If the person was truly there they likely don't have the best recollection because of adrenaline from all of the commotion and activity. That's why I put out there that it was from Twitter. I could never being myself to get on a water ride that tall so I wasn't even sure of what type of harness system the rafts have. The whole situation is so scary and tragic.

The person who tweeted this IS a reporter for Fox 4 Kansas City. And she hasn't removed her tweet about it being a decapitation. So sad and I'm sending good vibes to his family. I've seen retweets of her post with comments about his head becoming caught up in the netting. I can't even imagine the sheer terror for everyone involved.

Several people asked about height restrictions. Yes, Derry Township has placed height restrictions on the park. I'm pretty sure it's 200 ft however, the Kissing Tower is something like 330 ft so it's either grandfathered in or there's a loophole. -

Larry I was trying to tell him to not take the chance. So not sure how that's bad advice. If it was worded poorly in your opinion I apologize. I find that the ride itself is not forceful, it is super smooth. However I've ridden several times where the brakes are quite jarring. I do agree that back, neck, and heart concerns are a no go on coasters. I was only giving my opinion on the ride. -

The ride itself is very smooth and not what I would call forceful. However there are a couple sets of mid course brakes that can grab hard and that is way too jerky for someone with a bad neck. The problem is you never know from ride to ride if those brakes will be needed. Sometimes you coast right through and others you get jerked to almost a complete stop. I think it has to do with the loading/unloading of riders that need a little more assistance. -

I agree with LT. It is tight on legroom. I'm only 5'2" and I find that I have to cross my feet to be comfortable in the seats. -

There are survey markings in the area of Flying Falcon. I doubt any addition will involve the Kissing Tower. I will be at the park every day for the rest of the week. I'll try to snap some pics of that area and the markings. -

Fridays can be pretty busy. Plan to hit Fahrenheit or Laff Trak first. After that start at Lightning Racer and work your way forward. When you get back to the area of Fahrenheit head over to Storm Runner then down the path under Storm Runner's launch and up to Great Bear then down into the Hollow to grab the last 3. You can use the app but I've found that wait times aren't always accurate. -

Just watch your back at night in Harrisburg. The crime rate is awful and we have seen a ton of nighttime muggings lately. oh dear! We stayed in Harrisburg when we went in early June. Whenever we we go back, we'll stay somewhere else! If that tells you anything. And some useful knowledge, you can't buy beer in gas stations or grocery stores up there. It was one the strangest alcohol policies i've seen in the great United States. Just a tip off i wish i knew about before visiting. Our state laws are changing. You can buy beer by the six pack in limited grocery stores. Stay in the Mechanicsburg area next time. You can get beer in the Giant Food stores and Wegman's. -

If you don't mind a slightly longer drive, look into the Mechanicsburg or Camp Hill area. Suburban setting, quiet, safer. I live in Mechanicsburg and it's about a half hour drive to the park. -

You do not pay twice. You'll pay for parking when you go in the evening. Keep your ticket and the next day you'll show them and trek them you were there the previous night for the preview hours. -

Falcon has such a small footprint that they may consider relocating it. The height restrictions are perfect for introducing the little ones to "grown up" rides. I would hope they could figure out how to keep it.
