  1. How would Tuesday be? What's a good plan to get on most of the rides before closing?
  2. I find it funny that behemoth is located on the water and leviathan is located the farthest from water in the park.
  3. Actually I could see that happening, what with all of the crazy designs B&M is making lately(even putting an inverting drop on the swarm)and FOUR new projects opening next year.
  4. NOOO! The absolute best part comes after the announcement when everyone complains about every single inch of the ride, silly! Or they could do what gardaland did with raptor and say absolutely nothing throughout the process.
  5. ^It probably will, mine reads 14 hours left which would be 7 am for me.
  6. If this really is a B&M giga, seatbeltless lap-bars FTW!!(ie. increased capacity, FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT)
  7. I downloaded it, in my personal opinion the elements were unique, but there were moments where the train dips too close to the ground for my taste, especially after the bat hang element. I like the idea of the ride but seems to be a little too ambitious. Another fact is that the "cobra turn" exists in the form of a "banana roll":
  8. Im sorry but this does not look appealing to me at all... DID YOU NOT READ THE FINAL STATEMENT, LET ALONE THE PART WITH THE "GAP THAT NEEDS TO BE FILLED"! Besides crossbow is Robb approved!
  9. For those of you that don't think that this will be thrilling look at this: This...is another zeirer coaster of the same model verbolten will be. And it will be family friendly and not top notch, top ten thrilling because it has a job. To fill a void made empty by the removal of BBW. If this ride is as thrilling as some people want it, then first timers coming to the park will have to jump the thrill level gap from grovers alpine express to lochness monster. That is the gap BBW filled when it was still around, verbolten must fill the same gap and add enough thrill so the thrill seekers wouldn't be left out. That is a tough assignment that BGW has to accomplish, so those of you complaining early think about this task at hand, then model your opinion. EDIT: I also agree with skycoastin steve that you have to WAIT and RIDE to formulate a final thought about the ride. I mean it hasn't even been formally announced yet and people are already complaining! Is it me or do people in Virginia seem to bitch more than anywhere else.(I 305: bitching about everything even though you have a top ten coaster.) -Peter "shut up until it is announced" Petri
  10. ^ I agree completely, they seem to want to do something different, i mean look at sky scrapper (no, this is not a spelling error) at world joyland, raptor at gardaland, and the new invert at parc asterix.
  11. I love how they still advertise flight of fear as if it kept the OTSRs. GP being scared of lap bars maybe?
  12. This ride's name has changed. The new name is Sky scrapper. No kidding check RCDB.
  13. ^^The idea of a wing coaster came to me when the game involved birds, the V being the wings of a jet fighter, and just the fact that a V looks like a pair of wings. And now I can see a dueling coaster from two different manufacturers! This is shaping up to be awesome, especially with the Hershey style game you are playing with us.
  14. I'm placing my bets now: this will be a B&M wing coaster.
  15. In a word: AWESOME! And adding a third train! This insane coaster is re shaping up and improving just as you said.
  16. Honestly is cedar point could get anything I believe it should be out of the launch category as that is the only thing they've been doing since 2003, sure maverick has good reviews by coaster enthusiasts and TTD has good reviews from the GP, but too much can get boring. On that note I think the best thing for cedar point to get is a eurofighter or really anything outside of intamin. I mean look at all of the trouble intamin's designs have gone through in the past years maverick, I305, sure the end result was awesome but the extra expenses of replacing track because of a design flaw or to fix an unseen flaw is unnecessary. If cedar point were to launch again for 2013 I recommend premier's new design: Sky rocket is a pretty compact launch coaster at kennywood, the short height, the lab bar only inversions will not only serve the enthusiasts well, but also scare the hell out of the GP.
  17. I don't know why, but the drop from the loop to the immelman looks very...arrow-esque.
  18. ^^That would probably be Robb, he's coming up from soCal on the south west edge of the US up to Hershey in the northeast!
  19. ^ In the coming years maybe Holiday world would add a steelie to their list. The timberliners may reduce wear and tear on the voyage's track that there will be less of a need to retrack, thus saving money for a small steel coaster like a eurofighter or one of those premier thingies like sky rocket at kennywood.
  20. What? You mean to tell me that this is not a 200 foot tall aquatrax with and extended train!?!?!
  21. It holds the record in airtime and costs around 9 million dollars, this could just be it.
  22. I am noticing in the new pics/blueprints, the comet is missing! The track for sooperdooperlooper and great bear is there but the classic comet's layout is gone! All that's left in there is white/emptiness where the comet goes. Does this mean that the project was too big for the comet to stay?
  23. Your house catching fire while at the DMV and having the paperwork inside. What's worse than gravity inverting while outside?
  24. Speaking of flowriders and capacity issues, how about this as a solution: waveloch's website says that this could go up to a 360 degree configuration, and if placed in the park, there are the bragging rights to having the first of its kind. Another note is that in the 180* model you can put up to 4 riders at a time. Meaning that a 360* model could theoretically hold up to 8 riders at a time! That's more than most rides in splashin safari could hold.
  25. This: At rapids waterpark in south beach, Florida. Dubbed proslide's first KrakenRacer. Two, dueling aqualoops: Self explanatory. And three, whitewaterwest's MEGAtube: that really IS MEGA!
